You just rode Gemini 100 times in one day, what are you going to do now? I'm going to go ride Magnum.
Yes, I was hoping for a slow day so I could get some magnum rides in but the park got crowded and it did in a hurry. I staggered over to the park about 9:40 and got in line for Magnum. At 10am they opened the queue for the ride but they stopped us on the stairs and told us they were going down for rain. I was shocked becasue yes it was a light drizzle but it was not enough rain to close the ride, finally after the most pointless rain delay I have ever had at Cedar Point the ride opened at 10:30. I got five laps in, the first laps in 63, one lap in 13 and two laps in 11. The ride was running great but the line got long quick.
After my fourth ride I ran back to the magnum x taurus and grabbed my nikon and headed over to Gemini to visit the crew. In the station I ran into Rob and we spent the rest of our day together, we rode once and headed over to MS to visit Dave. It was funny because the people who worked Gemini on Monday who where there when Rob and I rode were shocked to see us and just started laughing at our first site.
After talking to Dave at the MS entrance we walked down the trail (hey MS had a 15 min. wait and for Rob and I it wasn't worth the wait) Anyway we stopped and talked to Paul on the trail for a while and we headed over to Rob's house around 12:15 to catch the 1pm show. We had a few drinks, and watched the show, which is just as awesome as it was last year if not better!
After the show we headed over to Ride Mine to visit Nat and then back to Gemini for two more laps. After our third lap on Gemini Rob wanted to go back to his car to get his tally counter. We got it and went back to the Gemini where the crew was shocked to see us again, we rode it about 4 more times and then we took off. It was a busy hot day and I was glad to leave!
The scary thing is I think I am becoming emotionally attched to gemini! AHHHHHH! Rob will agree to that one.
