July of 2003

Hi, im new here, but I love Cedar Point. I live about 2 hours southeast of it in Celina, OH. I just wanted to tell you about my trip there last year.

Me and my (now ex)girlfriend went there last July. First ride I wanted to go on was the Raptor. So after a 45 minute wait we get on the ride. I sit in my seat, and they cant get the harness to click because it keeps hitting my sholders. Im 6'3, 250 pounds, not the littlest guy, but in my own opinion not the biggest to be there. So After that long wait I couldnt ride it. So, I thought I would try riding the Wicked Twister, waited in line for 30 minutes. Got on it, same thing, whenever they would try to close the harness, it would hit my shoulder blades and wouldnt close anymore. By this time im getting pretty depressed.

So, I try the magnum, get on it just fine, get on the mean streak, and gemini just fine. So im starting to feel pretty good again. After riding some other non coaster rides, its getting about 2 hours before closing, so I figured lets get on Millenium Force. Wait in line for 2 hours. Finally get in the coaster, I cant get the seat belt to go far enough to snap in. So I again have to get off after a 2 hour wait.

So all in all it was a pretty sad and depressing trip. I love rollercoasters, and its very depressing thinking that I cant go on most of them.

I hate to be rude, but did you try the test seats at the entrance of each ride before waiting in those lines? That is what they are for. So you don't waste your day waiting for rides you can't go on.

I live in Van Wert,so I know that it's more than a hop-skip & jump to the park!
