Crowds:
The crowds weren't too crazy. They were just big enough to put Mil, Mav, and Drag out of the question for me though. Millennium had a 2 hour wait, even after hot summer lights we ran over there and it was at 1 & 1/2 hours, Yikes!
Weather:
The forecast called for rain, it didn't...big plus :)
Rides:
Hit some kid rides with my son and nephew, some of the smaller rides; Calypso, Monster, Tilt a whirl, and a lot of the second tier coasters; Magnum, Gemini, Corkscrew, Blue Streak, and Mantis. Magnum, Gemini, and Blue Streak were VERY smooth and gave aweseome rides!
Rockband Live!!!:
My family finally talked me in to trying Rockband Live. I flicked mine down to expert during the audition and was playing well. The scout took notice but was unimpressed saying "Hey man, we know you can play, but we've seen people play between their legs" I thought ok, this is it, and threw it back behind my head. After another 45 seconds our audition was over and I saw the scout circle my name :)
It was a blast getting chosen to be guitar lead, and was an awesome experience...very glad my family talked me into it. :)
Here's a photo of me with the band...
Yeah, they made me wear that long black coat. I guess it was better, it'd look a little weird just sporting a t-shirt and gym shorts with a bunch of tricked out rockband employees all over.
