I arrived to the park on Monday the 3rd around 8:30ish at night. By the time I got in, it was almost 9. I rode Magnum a few good times, and then got a ride on Power Tower before heading over to Millennium Force for last ride of the night. Chatted it up with Josh at entrance, and then walked my way through the queues.

The line was out to the pop machines at close (10:10pm). I was on the ride by 10:45. There were some serious ass hauling going on in the station to get that many people through the line that fast. Kudos goes out to the Millennium Force crew for their hard work and effort.

After the park closed, we went out to Steak & Shake (blech) since it was the only thing open besides 'dirty d' (Dianas). A pretty intense thunderstorm with 58+ MPH Winds blew in and the Sandusky/Huron/Erie Co. police and fire frequencies got very busy. Multiple transformers blowing up, trees falling on roads, houses, etc. I drove around since I still hadn't adjusted to a day schedule yet until about 4 am before finally going to bed.

Got a late start on the 4th, and didn't make it to the park until 2 pm. Wasn't very busy for the 4th of July, and I waited with Chrissy for Millennium Force. We then rode a few other assorted rides which I don't even remember anymore. Generally, the 4th of July was pretty not bad, and I got to ride a lot, enjoy the fireworks, and finish the night off on maXair and then get almost last ride on Raptor.

The 5th was absolutely busier than crap, and I didn't make it to the park early enough to ride anything. I waited like 25 minutes for Magnum, and then the line had extended into the third section of queues, so I walked around. I think I got on Gemini and then I went to Mean Streak to find queues filled. Skyhawk was down, and I walked around to MF which was still down. It didn't take long where I got fed up with the crowds and left. I was out of the park by 12:30 and drove shortly thereafter to Geauga Lake.

Once at Geauga Lake, I was able to ride Big Dipper, X-Flight, Thunderhawk, and a few laps on Dominator before finishing off with the mill race (I forget what its actually called. All in all I was there for about 90-120 minutes tops, and I ride everything I wanted (I would have liked to ride Dominator a bit more, but didn't have time for that). We had to get back to Cedar Point, so I headed back.

Got back, it was still crowded. Went and chilled back by the landscaping project for awhile and just kind of got lost in thought. Said hi to John on the train, and then hung out with him after he got off work. Went back to his dorm room for awhile and chilled, then we went out to eat at Friendlys.

Thursday morning was awesome. I drove up at 8:40, and walked in front of all the people waiting at the main gate, and was second in line for the Season Pass line. Got in, and everyone ran to the blue gates. I walked through saying "Fancy Man coming through, out of the way for the fancy man, move people, fancy man coming through", and then made my way to Raptor. First in line, front seat right. Great wake up. Got back in line and rode again.

It was about 9:20 at this point so I went back through the gathered crowd of people at the blue gates, again saying 'fancy man coming through, out of my way, make way for the fancy man' and then headed out the front gate, to my truck (which was parked in one of the first spots next to demon drop). Drove back to the Gemini lot where I went back into the park and got in line for Magnum. Got first train out, and rode 5 more times with Jerry before 11:00am. Around 11 most of the 'cattle' showed up, and I had to head back.

All in all I'd have to say it was a pretty good trip. Nothing ride wise like back in May, but still a nice trip.

"Fancy Man" Classic.

101 on Magnum and counting...

Steak & Shake sucks here, too. I'd rather eat my own vomit.

Yeah, I'm not a fan of the Steak and Shake. I wish things didn't die in Sandusky after about 10-midnight. I've been dragged to multiple Steak and Shakes here in Lansing, and they all stink.

And try to find something semi-healthy on their menu. Good luck.

I don't mind Steak and Shake at all. Their chili is awesome.

I've never tried their Chili, however, I'm not much of a Chili guy myself.

I ended up having the chicken fingers the other night. Wasn't a lot for the $4.19

I agree that their food is mediocre at best. However, I love their milkshakes.

Oh. I did want to add something. I had complaints about the way Power Tower handled riders earlier in the season, and I'd like to say its improved 10000% over there. There was a gentleman named Joe who was checking Drop West at the time I rode who was doing everything he could to quickly to check the tower.

I thanked him in person for busting butt, but I'd like to publicly thank him and the crew on a much improved experience. :)
