July 3-5: Day 1

Day one was rather short. We left home at nearly 3:00 PM, and got to the park at 5:00 PM. We camped at Lighthouse Point. What a truly nice place. We took a walk along the boardwalk after we set up camp. Went swimming by Sandcastle and were planing to rent Jet Skis. We ended up deciding it wasn't worth over $50.00 for a half hour. So we went to Fridays and got some drinks and a bite to eat. Then looked around a bit before watching a Magnum sunset. We then went swimming for a few hours in our pool. Lighthouse point is great. I can't wait to stay in the cabins for Labor Day.

Yeah, the cabins are great! Just don't go towards the end of May. Because you'll be having a very large amount of muffleheads in your cabin!
