July 25th..Last day at CP for a while.

So we had gone to Cedar Point about a week earlier, but we got there late and didn't get to ride much. I live near Savannah, GA so getting a chance to go to Cedar Point these days is rare. I was sad that they only time I was able to go, we barely got to ride anything so my cousin offered to pay for us and we went again. :)

We got there a little bit later, noon. It was because the day before we had been at The Henry Ford Museum all day and we were exhausted. So we needed some rest, before we headed to CP for the day.

We got to Gemini first, and noticed that the line was unusually long. I have never actually stood in the queue before. We checked on our phones, and realized it was Christmas in July. I was upset, because not only were all of the lines going to be extremely long but we also did not get the discounted price. lol.

By the time we got on Gemini we sat in the 3rd seat on the red train. After waiting for about 20 minutes, we didn't want to wait for the front.

It was the best ride on Gemini that I had in a long time. My lap bar was a little bit loose, and I got so much air time. I loved it.

From there we headed to Magnum, and waited in line for about 45 minutes. :( We should have just left and came back, but I assumed that all of the lines would be pretty long anyway.

We waited for front seat, and the ride itself was awesome. But my lap bar was down too tight, so it hurt my legs every time we went over a hill. I was really disappointed since we waited forever. If the line was shorter, I would have rode again right then so it could have been an even better ride.

After that we thought we could go on Corkscrew, figuring that there is never a line there. The sign said 15 minutes. It was more like 30 minutes.

We rode front seat, and it was fun like usual..but too short. Especially for waiting 30 minutes.

Next we rode Super Himalaya. The line was short, so we were happy. lol.

We wanted to eat next so we turned around to walk towards Frontier Town, and found some place to get chicken fingers. It was ridiculously expensive. For one chicken fingers meal, one medium pop, and one tray of just chicken fingers it was $30!!

From there we walked through Frontier Town and rode the Cadillac cars and the swings.

Then my cousin wanted to ride Mantis, so I rode Iron Dragon by myself.

We headed up towards the front of the park and rode Wind Seeker for the first time. It was such a beautiful view of the beach and the park. I loved it.

Next I rode MaxAir. My cousin opted out, and since I was a single rider I got on the ride quicker. It was super fun like usual.

After that we waited about an hour for GateKeeper, but it was worth it. We rode front seat, and it was amazing. It was like a smooth Raptor.

Riding Gatekeeper made us want to ride Raptor, so we did that next. I hate how at the end they don't stop it slowly enough and my head always bangs against the restraints. Other than that it was a fun ride.

We did Blue Streak and Calypso next.

By this time it was about 9pm. I told my cousin that I wanted to ride Magnum again, and she wanted to ride Maverick.

I waited about 30 minutes for Magnum, and when they pushed down on my lap bar, the same thing happened again! I asked the ride op if there were anyway that he could loosen it for me. He rudely said that he couldn't and ran passed me. So even though the ride was fun, the lap bar slammed into my legs the entire time again.

When I got off it was 9:50pm so I literally ran from Magnum to MF non stop. I wish that I could have that kind of energy at home. There is something about MF that gives me that motivation. lol.

I got there at 9:55pm, and stood in line for about an hour. It was red train, and was an amazing ride.

From there we stayed at Rodeway Inn South on Milan road. It was a really small room, and not so nice. But it was close to the park, and very cheap.

All in all I was really satisfied with my last time at CP for a while. The last time we had been there I left upset, knowing that I had not had the chance to ride everything that I wanted to.

I wish that we could have rode somethings twice, but with the long lines from Christmas in July that was impossible.
