Ok, now we're really going to have some fun! I've secured the use of my friend's motorhome so we can all ride in one vehicle but we'll still stay in the cottage. Well some of any way, the others can stay in the RV. It's a 1973 Bluebird Motorhome that has been completely refurbished inside and out with a big old Cat Diesel engine in it. Woohoo!
Holiday Road starts playing now....

Schureman, as much as I recommend LHP (I'm only slightly behind Mr. Scott in signing its praises) transfer your reservation to Camper Villiage. Its only 50 bucks a night, you get full hookups (well, I dont' know about sewer, but you have at least electricity and water) and grill.
This way you and your kids will have more money to spend in the park and on food.
Goodbye MrScott
John
I organized a group of friends as a college graduation trip a couple years back (And mr. scott was nice enough to mail me some extra coupons for the trip, I'm still grateful!) It was an EXCELLENT time, we had 2 in the bedroom, 2 on each futon, and 2 in the loft... it was a little crowded, but we had a BLAST, being all packed in there was half the fun!
Don't forget the cost of your tickets to the park will be less if you buy them through the resort.
Also a fun dinner option if you have a big group is to get the "King Kong Party Pizza" at a local place called Chet and Matts. It's HUGE, like, at least 3.5 feet in diameter! It'll definately be a kid pleaser. On our trip I told my friends I was going out for pizza, and when I got back they were all AMAZED, everyone ran for a camera!

Maybe if the delivery guy has a flatbed.
I also agree with Jugga's suggestion about switching your reservation to Camper Village. You get the same view, atmosphere and amenities, and save a bundle of money. But, if I remember correctly, its $75/night, not $50. I could be wrong though, and I'm too lazy to check. :)

Thank you all for your input. The kids are really excited about taking the motor home.
Can I transfer the reservation without having to pay the $50 cancellation fee? Just wondering.

You know, I could actually understand a water only option before an electricity only option.
Yes you can (at least last time I checked). You're still keeping the reservation, just switching where you will be staying. There was another thread around here that was discussing this. Just give reservations a call and let them know you'd like to switch from LHP to Camper Village.

Ok, a little update and request for help.
We have decided not to take the RV (having mechanical problems) and will stay in either a cabin, Sandcastle, or Hotel Breakers. $ is not really a question/problem so which one would be the best for 6-7 of us? Thanks.
Bill

Ok, it's official now. We will be staying in a cottage.
Mr. Scott, will you be there next weekend so we may enjoy your hospitality?
