Got started around 6:00 am, the whole way down to Sandusky there was fog and off and on showers. Got to the park around 8:30.
At 9:00 we ran straight to Millienium. wait was up to the ramp and got a middle seat. Great ride but since it was raining a little it kinda hurt. We saw the line was still up to the ramp so we got back in and this time waited for the front seat (since it wasn't raining). I've never riden it in the front seat and it's definattly worth the wait. Great speed and the drop is way more exciting.
It was about 10:00 and I ran over to Top Thrill Dragster and saw it was testing and got in line. Sadly I did not get a rollback. TTD was running very good through out the day.
After TTD I went over to Magnum to see it was a walk on and got two ride's.
Then we went back out to the parking lot for a little lunch. I still think that eating out in the car is the way to go.
Headed over to Raptor to get some video footage and picture's which will later be uploaded. After getting some footage we went over to Space Spiral for a quick view of the park. When I was over near MaXair I noticed that it has some new paint on it. Here's a Picture.
Wiked Twister was a walk on so I hopped on in the middle. We then walked back to Frontier Town to go on Snake River Falls since it was so humid. Got cooled down on SRF and then headed back to the parking lot to get the car to go to Soak City for the rest of the day.
Great day, line's weren't really to long, employees are still doing a great job this year even with the heat. I got lots a picture's and they are all here http://cedarpointpictures.webs.com/apps/photos/album.jsp?albumID=1733305 .

Sounds like you had a great time! I always avoid riding MF in the rain if I can. I do not want to be hit by pellets, while trying to enjoy my ride. lol. I agree that eating in the car is the way to go, as long as you are parked in SC parking lot. Great pics too!!

Thanks, I have never parked in the SC lot before. I think I will have to next time I'm going to the park.

Yeah it is sort of a secret around here. But I like spreading the joy. :) Soak City parking lot smaller than the main parking lot, so it is easier to find your car. It is nice to beable to just go to your car really quick if you need to, because it's right there at the back of the park inbetween Gemini and Magnum.
Nothing beats taking a nice break in your car and watching people enjoy their rides on Magnum. :) It is also cool when you are on Magnum or Gemini to beable to point out your car. lol.

Not to double post, but I just uploaded the Raptor Video.

2nd rule: You DO NOT talk about Soak City parking lot. ;)
I guess I broke em, but I'm just a nice person like that to share valuable information to a fellow CP lover. :)

Yeah Soak City parking lot is bit of a secret, the main adventages are parking up close, even so with staying out Sand Castle suits. It makes it easy to go back and put sun screen on, and eat (all in the confert of A/C). And by the end of the night, there isn't alot of people at the water park/resort gate to ;).
Quote from a Corkscrew ride op, "And Dragster is down again"
For non-busy days I like the SC lot, but on the 4th or Saturdays during Halloweekends I prefer to park near the back of the Main Lot. When traffic leaves at the end of the day, being in the back of the main lot gets you out MUCH faster than being in the SC lot.

Take the other road out :)
Plus if you get in line at the end of the night right before the lines close. You won't be out of the park for another hour if its a big ride, and all the traffic has dispersed.
I am not sure what the gating system is like at the front of the park in terms of the morning wait.
But Magnum entrance can be freaking long. If I ever see a line like that again I will just go to the Wicked Twister entrance and get on Raptor right at 9:03 A.M
To have the convienance of having my car right there in the back of the park by Magnum and Gemini, it is worth it to me to wait in traffic at the end of the night.
The days I went it was pretty busy. But like Factory81 said, we were in line for MF when the parked closed. After that we spent some time in the Challenge park watching people on Sky Scraper and Rip Cord.
By the time we left, the parking lot was pretty much empty.
