July 1st weekend

Anybody there now? Curious how crowded it is. Thinking of heading up for a few hours tonight.

It's very busy today. Waterpark and beach is packed too

Speaking of muffleheads, they gathered by the thousands on the dragster lights where witches wheel is and they ended up roasting and catching on fire on the lights lmao. The smell was absolutely horrid and the police ended up calling a little car with fire extinguishers.

This guessing game is why I miss having a webcam that shows the lot.

Over by GateKeeper Wednesday night you could hear the buggies sizzling on one of the lights. There were sweeps earlier cleaning them off over by MeanStreak.

I was wondering what that awful smell was in the area of Dragsters tower lol

Midways were packed...ride lines weren't horrible though. Didn't understand that lol

Midges and mayflies are not the same thing. Midges are the smaller, fragile little critters with the fuzzy antennae. May flies are the big stinky bugs with large wings.

went Friday 1st,didn't get there until 8:30pm,stayed until midnight. Parking lot was only to a couple rows past security tower,crowd surprisingly light,cool pleasant weather with the winds from the north off the lake. Did two MF rides with the line(s) only to the bottom of the ramp. Walked the park,checked the stores for interesting stuff,ate a meal,and went back to MF. Line was at top of ramp for my 3rd ride,line was then almost to the platform for 4th ride. After the 4th ride,they were allowing unboarding directly to boarding. Got a 14th ride at 11:55pm and quit there. I imagine the other rides lines weren't too bad because of the sparse crowd.

went Sunday 3rd,HUGE HUGE crowd. Got there at 9pm,stayed until midnight. Mainly walking the park and buying stuff. Watched the fireworks from just inside the entrance and then ate a meal. Did a MF ride at 11:45(10 minute wait) and then called it quits.

Both of those days my agenda was MF. TTD seemed sporadic both nights.
