July 14 &15

This was by far the best CP trip I've had in 4 years. It was the first trip w/o parents. Being 18, I have a HUGE hotel suggestion. The La Quinta Inn is a GREAT HOTEL. It's clean and low priced. It's right across Ghostly Manor which is AWESOME!!!

Anyways, for some CRAZY reason, there were no lines most of the day! And they do NOT check if you are a resort guest or not! So get to the Soak City Entrance ASAP! Down the street is a Tops. Ride and Slides for $64.

Dragster broke down only a few times and had like only hour lines. Front seat is KILLER. Freeways sold out in one hour, so be sure to get one by 3:00. Love the speed.

Millenium Force is the ultimate ride. Freeways sell out in about 2 hours. Be sure to get one by 1:00. We rode this as our last rides and there were absolutely no lines later at night. I got tunnel vision during the day.

Magnum was our fall back ride. It never had ANY lines. Ejector seat is def not a myth. Be sure to pull your seatbelt tight on this ride. It's EXTREME AIR.

Raptor, I never rode this more than once in my past trips. Well, I figured that the line for this ride is nonexistant at nite. During the day its packed, but walk-ons are great for this ride. Front seat is definitely a must! I never knew how good this ride is.

Wicked Twister opened the day I got there! What a fun ride. Attempting to chase the person in front of you is great. 15 min lines or so, ride it at nite!

Gemini. Now this WAS our fallback ride, but everything was so short of lines we only rode it ONCE. Wow, that's a record low.

Mean Streak. Rode it once. This ride really blows. It's not fast or have any airtime. Good thing it never has lines.

Mantis. Yuck. My head hurts. Waited 10 mins.

Power Tower were walk-ons all day. Blasting up is so much fun. Some dude's shoe fell off and got caught in the tower. That's Extreme.

Disaster Transport, 10 min waits. I wanted them Longer! That AirCon is crucial. I like how random this ride is and how no one has an idea of what is going on and how we end up in Alaska.

MaxAir. 30 min waits. Cool ride, was expecting a bit more. It's good CP puts new non-coaster rides for variety. I'll take power tower anyday.

To end the trip, we went to WhiteCastle. It's about 45 mins away near cleveland. Harold and Kumar was our fav movie this trip and everything was so extreme.

I love cedar point and all the funny things that happen. Johnny Rockets is an awesome place to munch on. Go to Ghostly Manor, its the best.

I <3 DMB

Sounds like a great day. I'm heading up there on Wednesday and will be in the park Thurs & Fri, hopefully the lines will be as good as they were with you.

Did you go in through the Magnum entrance? I'm planning on parking in the Soak City lot also.
