Wow, so, what a great trip. Got to the point at about 10 something, which I threw a fit about since it was so late, and rode DT. Split off afterwards with my friend and went straight for Power Tower. That got my heart 'a pumpin and we mozzied over to Magnum and rode that a few times. I have a question, is it even legal for ride ops to slap hands with riders? Well, I winked at a ride op as we were leaving the train and reached for a hi-five and she was like, sorry. So, I'm not really sure if I got the big 'D' or it was just prohibited. I like to believe the latter.
Let's see, walked around the park some more, then decided to jump on Top Thrill. Waited only about an hour or so, then finally, got a seat on the front. Everything was going good, but then it broke down right before we were going to launch. Well, back still in the station, but still, in the train. So, while waiting for an eternity, we talked to some of the ride ops. Found out what there was to do after hours at the point, and what the heck, since we were staying a few nights, mine as well check it out. Finally, the train took off and the ride was awesome. After that we went on MF a few times and headed back to our room.
The next day wasn't as packed with rides. Went to CP for a ride on Top Thrill and a few on MF. I was utterly dissapointed with Mantis. Biggest waste of an hour. After that we went over to Soak City, and I was impressed. So many frolicing girls, and to think, I was going commando. After a short time of talking to the ladies and jumping around in the water, we went back to the hotel to eat. Now, we ate ate the pizza place in the hotel, but that's beside the point. I walked in, sat down at a table, and laid my eyes on the most beautiful girl in my life, she was serving us. Her name was Alexandria, and she was from Poland. Which, I noticed a lot of Polish people, which is cool since i'm like half Polock. Anyways, after chickened out attempts to get her to our room later that night, we decided to walk around the hotel.
I never realized the Breakers had such a night life. The first night there we met up with a group of kids just sitting in the rotunda at like 1 in the morning, which was so random. Then the next night I met up with a group of girls at like 2 in the morning and played cards.
The next day we didn't go to the park, but just went to the beach and pools. Once again, frolicing girls everywhere, so I played my A-game. I'll be honest, I think it was better not going to the park a third day and just staying at the pool drinking daquaris(well, maybe only strawberry non-alcoholic drinks). After that we drove home and had dinner at Mr. Beefy's, which, is one of the best kept secrets on rt. 2. Has anyone else ate there? Pretty good food. Well, finally we got home and I realized again how much I hated it. I wouldn't mind living at the breakers.
Always impressed with Top Thrill and Millennium. Getting my own room with my friend at the Hotel Breakers made the experience 100 times better and the service there was ridiculously good. Ride ops were so nice, I have so many good examples of them being nice I could list.
A few breakdowns at TTD and Mantis. The one ride op at Mantis, Carlos, is a jerk. But I won't let one rotten apple ruin the bunch. WT not being up. Sunburns are never fun.

Smoking Marijuana isn't a bad thing or even a good one, like everything else, its what you make of it.
Yeah, the ride ops are not allowed to high five. I know that all too well.
It makes sense on the coasters at least, because a guest could grab ahold of their hand and pull them out with the train. However, it makes no sense why you can't high five a guest on Sky Ride.
Sounds like you're a future louies victim ;)
One question I have for you,
You're not 21, so how did you stay at Breakers? Or were you just chilin there?
I'm 21 and my gf is 5 months shy of 21 and when I called to make reservations, they told me ALL guests had to be 21, not just the person making the reservation. Thought about just sneaking her in but we decided on a cheaper place, Ramada Inn by the Holidome...anyone stayed there?

I wanted to sound cool, so I left out the part that my parents got the room for us. Like, my parents were staying in a totally different room about two stories above us. So, I'm not sure if that's even allowed, but my dad did it so I don't care. But honestly, if I wanted to, I could just walk around and go swimming at that hotel without having a room.

I've always wanted to stay at Breakers and am trying to get my family to book a room for Halloweekends. From your report, it sounds like a great place to stay.
Cedar Point rocks my socks.
Ha, cool...I wish I could convince my parents to stay on site again, but they think it's just too much money. less then 3 years til I turn 21 though...
I'm gonna be honest and say sounds like a crappy trip. Sounds like you spent almost no time in the park, I never leave it when I go, let alone miss whole days or only riding a couple rides. But I guess as long as you had fun its all good, what does it matter what I think anyway. Shut up Sam, just stop talking. Ok.
The girls that you were talking about reminded me of my camping time in Monticello, Indiana, near Indiana Beach. They got some hot girls over there...;)
Nice to hear that you've had a good time. I have to stay at Breakers sometime.

Well, the whole first day we stayed at the park. Then on the second day we stayed at the park for half of the day then soak city the other half. As for the last day we just mingled around at the beach and pool area. The one pool at HB isn't too bad, it's at the far end, farthest away from the rotunda. But, I'll admit it wasn't really much for swimming, more for a dip.
I totally forgot to call you, cmkbabie, sorry.

We do have a lot of internationals here; people come from all over the place, even faraway places like Thailand and China, just to work at the world's best amusement park.
I do agree, we have many attractive ladies working here...as well as a few mean staff members...but naming specific people can be dangerous if they see the posting and take offense...so just be careful.

Mr. Scott, stop telling people how great lighthouse point is, or I will never be able to book a reservation again because of the crowds.
Sorry, gregdawg. But as you and I know, it's the best way to enjoy Cedar Point. Especially in May or September/October.

Wow, MrScott, you are like a walking billboard for the best times to go, and places to stay at cedar point. I hope nobody reads this or I will have to start going to the park on saturdays in July to avoid the crowds.

Hey, my name is Carlos and I am the 'rude' ride host you're talking about. I'd just like to let you know, that I am only rude to guess who are rude to me. I don't make the park rules, I just enforce them. If you had any concerns, you should next time direct them to park operations instead of a forum on the internet.
Thank you,
Carlos
