It was sooo hot today, we couldn't even think of walking around on the pavement, with the sun beating down. We spent most of the day at Soak City. The Renegade River and Wave pool were tube to tube full.

There was quite a challenge maintaining power for the park today. It was causing ride to be closed, and unhappy guests. Apparently the power was out at least twice. Consequently, they extended the closing time until midnight, and had the laser show at 10 instead of 9. There were a lot of hot and tired ride ops tonight. In spite of the heat and extra hour, I didn't hear any complaining. CP employees are awesome!

I thought they generally did the laser show at 10 pm during the summer because it must be dark. It was nice they kept the park open an extra hour tho!

The normal laser show time is 10pm. It will be 11pm on July 4.
