Jones Soda

OK, I have to admit, I have an addiction. This wonderful "joy in a bottle" known as Jones Soda is the most wonderfully tasting drink in the world. In fact, there's only one place around me here that sells it, and I regularly make the 30-minute drive (each way) to have just ONE bottle.

My question is: Where can I find this delectable treat in Sandusky? I don't know if I can take a whole summer without this nectar of the gods...

I'm from NC and had never even heard of Jones Soda until one of my roommates was shocked to see it at the local Miejers on a grocery trip. They only had two or three flavors though. I haven't seen it anywhere since I left Sandusky.

Wow, Tyler and I were just talking about this a few days ago! With the seeming popularity among CP employees, maybe Jones Soda should be a new addition to the employee cafeteria. (I don't think Pepsi would mind too much ^_~ ).

ahhhhhhhhhh, i love Jones Soda! I live in Arizona out in the middle of nowhere on the Navajo Reservation, and they have Jones at one of our local gas stations. They have Strawberry Lime, Orange Cream, and Cream Soda. My personal fav is Green Apple, they have the taste down. I have only seen it in 3 places, here in Arizona, in Southern Ohio, and in Colorado near Denver. One of the things I like about it here is that it is so cheap, only 99 cents a bottle plus tax here. The freaky thing is that most of the fortunes i get come true. *oooooo eeeee oooo* Jones Soda is the best.

Here in Michigan, you can get it almost everywhere.

Have you HAD the kind called "MF GRAPE?" What in the world does MF stand for, I wonder? I quit collecting bottles. . .because they took up a rediculous amount of space. But I have kept every single bottle cap from them. And don't forget, they have the neato sayings inside! ;)

I think the Shell at the Rye Beach Road exit off route 2 has some. It's probably 5-8 minutes away from the point. When I head up next I will double check since I usually fill up there.

Meijer carried Jones in 4-packs in '01 and the beginning of '02, but then they disappeared.

I've got to have my Jones, I normally buy it at the United Dairy Farmers in Bucyrus on my way up. The UDFs almost always carry it, but I can't think of any in Sandusky right now.

Stay tuned, I'm gonna go on a Jones hunt next week. Hopefully, before the season starts, we'll be able to have a pretty good list of places to get it.

So, if anybody knows of any other locations in Erie county, let us know! I feel like such a freak.

Yeay, Tyler! Track it down...I hope you can find a place that sells the Cream Soda. I would check gas stations; they always seem to carry it when other places don't.

Wow! I didn't even know you Jones Soda Freaks existed in the world of Cedar Point...I know we have them here in Indiana, so I just figured they were everywhere...guess I was wrong. I don't have much of a craving for Jones Soda, but I am known to down a few Cream Sodas when need be. But I can get my Jones fix every day if need be, because they sell them here at good ole Ball State!

Tyler - The ONE place that has it around here is a UDF, so I was hoping that they had them at most of the UDF's. Isn't there a UDF in Sandusky? I remember seeing one.

J-Bird - You know, I've never looked in Indiana... that's where I live when I'm not at school or CP (which amounts to approximately 10 days a year...). I've never noticed it being sold anywhere in Indianapolis... I'll look harder.

And yes, Green Apple rocks the hizz-ouse. Second place is Foo Foo Berry.

I didn't want to elaborate on my love for Mongolian Barbeque. . .but now that someone seconded my thoughts. . .why not?

IT'S SO GOOD! Those of you who aren't lucky enough to have one within hours driving distance, you are so screwed. It is THE ULTIMATE restaurant for picky eaters. You pick whatever meats (or NO meats!) and vegetables you want, add spices and sauces, and hot people cook it for you -- right in front of you! -- on a giant circular grill. And they perform tricks with sticks. All the while, fresh rice and warm tortillas are delivered to your table, awaiting your return.

Mmmm a summer without MB is sad. . .But I know I can handle it!
