This is my first year to have a seaon pass (which excites me to no end!) and wanted to know about the Joe Cool club. I know that you get speical priveleges like small discounts at shop and ERT. My question is are you allowed to bring a gues to the ERT if that guest is not a member? Probably not, but since there aren't many details out on the club I didn't know. I'd love to take adavantage of the ERT, especially with Maverick but so far, I'm the only one out of my friends and family that has a pass.
That's what I figured. I guess its time to force my friends into a season pass. Of course, who wouldn't want a pass? :)

Who knows, they might do something completely new and allow JCC members to let one friend come in with them for ert!;)

i want to know something. im going to kings island but im going to be buying a max pass. can i get a joe cool club when i go to cedar point or do i have to buy my max pass threw cedar point to get it
No you will get Kings Island's version of the Joe Cool Club, the Gold Pass. It actually has a bunch of more features (see their website) and is still a free upgrade through Memorial Day weekend. If you want to get a CP Maxx Pass and buy Joe Cool but want to use it at KI next weekend, you can go up to Sandusky Wednesday, Thursday or Friday to buy a pass from 3-5.
Are you sure that a Joe Cool membership will be honored at other parks as a Gold Pass?
I haven't seen anything saying such.
EDIT: The more I thought about this, the more I realized that your information is incorrect. Joe Cool is a benefit only able to be utilized at Cedar Point.

Just a similar question, but If you are the only one in your party with a season pass, are your friends with a regular ticket allowed to stay with you in the season pass line? I know that the season pass line is equipped to handle regular tickets, I'm just wondering if the people allow that.

All the entrances are equipped to handle season passes, so the answer to your question is, yes.
There's not a special season pass only line to enter the park.
Now, if you have a pass from a different park you'll most likely have to enter through guest relations in some situations and your friends will have to go through the regular line.

Just a clairifcation of what I said, any add on (Joe Cool, Gold Pass) is only good at the park you bought it. I was simply implying that he could still get a CP Maxx Pass and go to KI next weekend with an extra trip to Sandusky. Otherwise he can just go to KI and get a KI Maxx Pass with a free Gold Pass add on, but the perks for that pass (other then admission to the other CF parks) would only be good at KI.
Allow me to clarify a few things here. Yes, there is a season pass only line to enter the park at every entrance gate. Season pass holders go through the same turnstile that people with hand stamps go through, just to simplify the counts at each turnstile. Every entrance has signage clearly indicating which turnstile you should use. It is true that every turnstile can scan the season passes, but generally, that only happens for the first 30 minutes every morning (between the National Anthem and God Bless America). After that, you will be directed to the season pass turnstile. Your friends with regular tickets will have to go through any turnstile other than the season pass one, the season pass line does NOT accept regular tickets.
As for the add-ons, Touchdown got it exactly right. Gold Pass benefits will only be good at KI if you have a KI pass with the upgrade. JCC benefits will only be good at CP if you have a CP pass with the upgrade.
Edit: Almost forgot. When the CP season pass center starts processing passes on Wednesday this week, their weekday hours are 3-7 PM, not 3-5. Weekend hours are 10 AM - 7 PM.

And then one day you find ten years have got behind you
No one told you when to run, you missed the starting gun
That was my fault, I thought cedarpointlover was the same person that asked about KI in the earlier post.
My comment was directed toward Kings Island. There are no season pass only turnstiles at KI.
Sorry for the confusion.

there is no way to get a cedar point maxx pass inless i drive up to cedar point.
You can purchase them online but you'll still have to travel to CP before going to KI's opening day to have it processed.

I just have the Regular Season Pass with the "Joe Cool Club". I wonder if they will let the Pass Holders go in Soak City or in Challange Park for Half the Price in a few Hours with those to places in one or two times during the year. I also hope they will let a family member or a friend come in the Park Half the Price during a Week Day or in the time of the HalloWeeKends!! too. Just one other thing with us; we can get a Free Drink with our French Fries or some other Food or Drinks on Fridays, Tuesdays, or another day. So the people will be by the Coasters or Rides to ride them and watch them too.
That is what I say about the "Joe Cool Club" with geeting in the PARK early too, and ride a few Rides earlier too!!!
Cedar Point hasnt put anything up on the Joe Cool page. Just sit tight, they will soon.

I live near Columbus so I'm the same distance to both parks. I haven't bought a season pass yet because I don't know which park I'm going to first. I also need to decide one set of perks are better than the other for me. I almost went to Carowinds over spring break to get my season pass but ended up going to buffalo for NCAA tournaments.
Last year, I didn't end up getting a pass to either park. I bought a 2 day Ride and Slide to Cedar Point for $65 (coupon in the papar) and a 2 day Kings Island pass for $45 (I think).
It would be nice if Cedar Fair would come up with a method to have both sets of perks on 1 pass. Even if it you needed to buy a Max Pass Plus to get it.
