Jobs that start in March or April

Hi... so, I have some breaks from my current job, and I am really thinking of gettting down to the Point early.

What are the positions that I would have a good chance of getting to start in March or April? When do you think they would start?

Thanks!

It doesn't really matter what "regular" position you apply for, if you ask they will probably let you come work during those months. Most of the work is cleaning crews, who clean literally everything during those months. I think there is some work to be done with setup for merchandise and such, but I think those jobs are pretty limited. If you work in March and April, it will most likely be in a cleaning position.

And then one day you find ten years have got behind you
No one told you when to run, you missed the starting gun

Yes in merchandise we do what is called pre season set up. All our gift shops have to be thouroughly cleaned and stocked with new merchandise. The merchandise has to be checked in, which means counted and verified with the transfer sheet that comes with it. Many of the shops aren't heated so it can be pretty cold, so warm clothing is needed. Generally the hours are from 9AM-5PM Mon-Fri. Twards the last days, the hours can go longer, depending on how far along we are. The start of set up this season is in early April, and I don't know how many people they need this season. All you can do is call and ask.

I used to work at Gymboree, and I hated merch set up! Unless I was working with a fun group of girls that night, it was very boring. Not to mention it took forever.

We had to wait for the mall to close around 9pm to start. Some nights we didn't get done until 3 or 4am. I could not imagine doing it in the freezing cold.

wow lol set up at CP isn't like that...it might take forever, and sometimes boring...but we start at around 8 or 9 am (depending how close to beginning of season we are) and at first work till about 5-8pm. (depending on how much needs to be done)....the last couple days usually have us there later...but even the night before park opening last year we weren't there later than around midnight...and that was only a few of us finishing up a store (that lol amazingly wasn't Pagoda)...But many of us are use to hours from the year before and we've worked from 8am to 2am before...not often...but it happens at CP...and if you aren't there from 8am...you'll be there from about 2pm to 3pm to about 1-2am (and even in the summer the weather can be cold)...so be prepared Jesz...hours at CP are NOT your normal 9-5...or even close to it...though...I admit...lol occasionally those are my exact hours lol
