I'm considering working @ CP in the future (I'm 16 now.. so.. 2 more years!) and I was wondering how hard it was to become a ride op?
Not hard at all, hell, I got promoted in my first year, anything could happen.

Not very! Just put it as your 1st choice on the app. so other departments don't get it 1st.
Exactly - on the application you pick up to three choices, just put ride op in there. If you are nervous about it, you can call about 2 weeks after you send our application, and just talk right to park operations - they'll put you on right there.

How many of you stayed @ the CP housing for employees? Was it good? Do they allow pets.. not like dogs or cats.. but what about a snake?
I always stayed in CP housing: no pets at all, and it isn't that great - but for how cheap it is and considering you'll be working so much you won't be there much anyway, it's a good deal. The dorms are about $18/wk and the apartments (shared with 15 of your closest) are $24/wk.

What is the age span of employees? Youngest, oldest, etc.
14 is the youngest age for a CP Employee, they only can work 6.5 hours a day, five days a week, as long as school is not in session. The oldest employees? Sky's the limit! I've met people of all different age brackets. Gerald, who works the Gemini Smoothie Wagon, is by far my favorite!

Hey Megan.. 6.5 hours is Food Services Policy.. Some divisions only give them one day off a week and allow them to work the full 40 hours allowed by law.. what I really wanted to say here though is that.. GERALD IS AWESOME and is my favorite too. You just have to love him. You can't help it.
Hello all I am a third year employee this year only partime...i am 37 and i work on mantis..my hubby also 40 works on antique cars...we both work fulltime during week..he a regional cable manager me a manager at wendy's..we still work out there for good friends and vacation money..look out casinos season almost done..then here we come
