Could anyone tell me what the jobs are like? Duties, perks, hours, etc? I went to cedar point.com but couldn't find much...

Really? cedarpoint.com has almost everything you need to know. Just click on "Employment" and browse through the menu options at the right.

Yeah, cedarpoint.com has a lot of information, and every single job is described in detail. I think the biggest perk for each job is that you are working at Cedar Point! Sometimes it can be pretty maddening, but it is such a pretty place, and a happy atmosphere, and you meet a lot of awesome people.

The only real grey area is hours...for most of the jobs in the park, your hours are going to depend on a lot of factors, the main one being how many people on your crew show up and stay. My first year, my crew was horrendously understaffed at the start of the season, and I was working 12-14 hours a day. This past season, my crew was overstaffed for awhile, and sometimes I worked 5 hour days! But as the season went on, the hours began creeping up. So it is impossible to say before you get there just how many hours you'll be working, and it can change every week.
