Job Choice

Last year I worked as a housekeeper applying for the 2014 season I chose not to work that position again.

However, when I checked to see if my app was reviewed, it had been by my previous manager. I did not apply for my old position, so why was my #1 job choice switched to my former one?

(please excuse my grammar lol I know ppl get mad at how I type)

I'm not certain, but I believe in those situations the previous manager has to approve your switch to a different department. Likely the reason they would have looked at it if that's the case.

How was working housekeeping? I will be working housekeeping this summer and i process in on april 30th.

It was ok bitter sweet, you'll be there before the hotel opens. That is when deep cleaning happens, moving the beds, couches, and etc. I didn't enjoy that lol, but you get a lot of hours and work with fun ppl. After deep cleaning it gets easy. If you dont like the heat its cool because you'll be in the A/C
what manager hired you?

Nick hired me in. Deep cleaning seem so tiring now that you mentioned it lol.

Lol it'll get much better after deep cleaning, if you can hang in until the hotel opens you'll be fine! Make the best of it

Hey guys!!! I put my app in Jan.18.2014 and Ive seen two people reviewed it for the food department can anyone tell me how long does it take for someone to call me or should I call them???

You can send out an email oryes you can call and see what they think of your application its a good way to show you are interested in the job.

OK thanks cuz I been calling but they just keep saying someone should get i n contact with me but usually how long did it take for them to contact you??

What the name of the managers who reviewed your application?

They only tell you that to stop you from calling so they can have an excuse to pass your application on believe me when I say in order to get a positive or even a non positive answer you have to keep in touch im not saying bug them over and over im just saying if you feel you are being ignored or treated unfairly call them up and make them listen to you but stay kind and professional.

I called again yesterday and spoke with klye he said he will call me Monday and lenzie in HR said that she will call me Monday but they said she left and went to Russia for a few weeks..She told me that if klye or john don't give me a answer she will get me in her department so I guess I'll hear something Monday...
