Job Application Being Reviewed

Hi everyone, possible first time worker for CP here. Online it says:

Your application is currently on review by our hiring managers for the job choices that you indicated.
Your application was reviewed by: John Lyle (Live Entertainment) on 01/20/2011

Just wondering how long it takes to hear anything back about your application, and how they usually contact you if they choose to hire you. On another note being Devil's advocate, are you notified either way if they choose to hire you or not?

Lastly, my first preference was 916 Tech Services Tech. It didn't list anything about the job application, but I'm guessing it deals with some sort of technology, and being in the field already I figured it would be a good choice to mark down. Does anyone have any info for this position?

They will contact you via email so make sure to check that everyday. They will ask to set up a phone interview for a time you are available. You are notified during your phone interview if you are hired or not. It doesn't take them much time to contact you though.

well I heard that you're suppose to contact them. If you click on the name an email comes up

i dont know if this helps, but before i got called for the interview id forgotten that i applied. i think there was about a month gap in between and i never once check my profile on the site. i never set up a phone interview, i was just doing my own thing when an ohio call popped up on my phone. what im trying to say is while others may have done things to serve as a catalyst for the hiring process; im proof that its not absolutely necessary
