It was such a pain on those 70+ ride days! Huh,Dan? LOL
As far as re-riding goes,I agree they should try something. I understand why they have the current policy. We can't expect the ride-ops to keep track of everyone that re-rides. It should be put on the guests. If we want to re-ride,then we should keep track of extra rides and then let someone know how many to add to count. I know most of us would gladly keep count for them! LOL
The thing that po'd me the most is at Coastermania. During any ERTs, re-rides should be allowed. These are not part of normal operating hours. So, attendance should not matter.

Magnum "Candy" Man, I hear ya...talking about no re-rides on Magnum during ERT. Over half the station was empty for most of it, and we couldn't stay in the trains.

...do they use the counter for re-rides for the Joe Cool Club?

How about this... count the number of people not on the train when it dispatches. Besides human error, this would be the most accurate method of counting, wouldn't it? Or if they are really that obsessed, place sensors on the seats and have an onboard computer count the butts all day and get the number at the end of the day.

That did suck durring Coastermania how we couldn't get re-rides. I'm glad to hear that they finaly cut that pole.

At the Joe Cool Club ERT last sunday on Raptor, there were never more than 3 people on a train (no line at all even for the front), and we still had to walk around.

They did the same on B:TR at SFSTL for early access time, Just me, a Mother and her two sons, they made us get off and go around and dispatched the empty train. while 10 min earlier on Ninja they let me ride two laps by myself and asked me if I wanted to go for a third.

I got lots of exercise in those 20 plus rides during Coastermaina!! No line= 6min per cycle
