Hi, I'm a three year King's Island employee looking to work at Cedar Point next summer. I was wondering if anyone else had this issue when applying.
When you start it asks if you have ever worked at a CedarFair Park before. I clicked yes and entered my associate ID, but it didn't work, then I tried my SSN and it still didn't work. Did anyone else have this issue, or does anyone have any ideas as to how to fix it?
I might just click no and go from there

2011-Firehawk
Call CP HR...Could be a problem with the site...
Lol you worked for firehawk though....how was working on a ride and getting 29 safeties in one day lmao.
To better answer your issue since the previous poster was more interested in ridiculing the operations of a ride, my guess would be that it applies to past Cedar Point employees only. There is a section within the application process that asks you if you worked at other parks within Cedar Fair.
Cedar Point Lifer, RideOp, Now Park Guest
2008 - Mantis/MF/Skyride
2009 - ATL Raptor
2010 - TL Sweeps
2011 & 2012 - Area 3 Rides Supervisor
Would you be able to post a screenshot of the page? I vaguely remember the question, but can't look back for reference since my application was submitted already.
2010: Millennium Force & Mantis
2011: Raptor
2012: Raptor, Sky Ride and Wicked Twister
2013: Co-Team Leader of Sky Ride
2014: Supervisor of Slingshot/Skyscraper
It's the very first page: https://jobs.cedarfair.com/cedarpoint/
Over on the left you click yes and then register, and then it goes to a page asking for an associate id, or ssn.

Yeah, I'd guess that it's just for past CP employees, because, well... That'd be kind of creepy if CP had your SSN on record. :P Try filling it out as a first time Cedar Fair employee, there will be another question later on in the application that you'll be able to say you worked at King's Island anyway.

BGRooDoG is right. Because I was wondering how an employee from another CF park wanted to work at CP, so I did a mock app kind of thing just to see. Kinda stupid, I know.

lol but 29 operationals in one day??? That's just ridiculous and unheard of
Wow! I bet that ride is hard to work though. I love the ride, but the crew was always rude to guests from what I saw. But that's a different story. Sorry for bringing it up.
