Do they have that thing running for more than 30 minutes at a time? When I was there on 05/23, it seems to be up for 20-30 minutes and then down again. This happened all day long.
It's still really early in the season...they've not even been open for a month yet. The rides have been dormant all winter. Most of us are a bit cranky when we first wake up-the rides are no different ;)
Well...it is an intamin.:)
what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard.
Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it.
I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.
Do they offer a reduced price since it is early in the season and everything is broken? No. They should start fixing and testing these rides in early April if they want to charge full price in May. Just my opinion.
Ive been to CP twice already this year and TTD has been running fantastic both days.
Promoter of fog.
I saw it running most of the day Tuesday. The only downtime I saw was around 7. About 20 minutes of downtime then it went right back to normal.
We'll miss you MrScott and Pete
I went to CP with other friends, and we got on the DRAGSTER around 2:45. There was only 5 Trains running, and the Line wasn't Long. It was 25 minute wait like the MF too.
I think it has pretty much run 5 trains most of the time. They found that the 6 train op didn't work out in 2003. I think they rotate which train doesn't run each day.

That is the case, but the sixth train isn't on the transfers yet this season. I believe it's the gold one that is missing. Or is it the red?

Thats what I meant, if they had atleast all of them on the transfer/main track.
5 trains is the way I've always remembered it, with the sixth on the transfer track. I would expect that the red train is simply undergoing repairs, restoration, replacement of parts, or something else like that.

This, coming from the guy who spent almost $400 to hang out in the park for a day in one of the slowest months of the season?
In May, you're getting a much greater ride-to-guest ratio than you do in the summer months. Don't like it? Don't go.

Wow. Someone's an entitled little child. Here's the deal, troll: These rides (specifically Dragster) are very complex machines. There's a lot that goes into getting those rides running. If it isn't safe, it doesn't run.
Now go run along and tell mommy and daddy the big mean man on the Internet said so.

There's one thing I've learned in life - when you advertise that you have money - or spent a lot of money on something others can't, tends to cast feelings of bitterness and dislike. Best not to boast it in the first place.
I think if you've earned the cash you have every right to spend it on what you like, but if you leave the price tags hanging on your purchase (aka profile name) people will just dig it up again and again.
