I just checked, and Hotel Breakers,Lighthouse Point,Sandcastle,Breakers Express, Camper Village,And Castaway Bay are all full,so it sure will be a busy weekend.
I love that our school district makes us go to school on Columbus Day, but the following Monday we also have a teacher inservice day, so I always go the Sunday after Columbus Day, and there's never anybody there! It's like a ghost town!

I know it has been said that this weekend is the busiest of the season, does that mean that Friday will be busy too?
Just another coaster junkie at Point Buzz
How about Sunday? Is Sunday going to be jam packed?
I can take a bit of waiting for rides, but not three hour waits.
Does this mean that Friday will be really crowded? Or will it still most likely be the same as any other HW Friday.
1:30 and only a small corner of the main lot is still empty. Glad I am at home enjoying the weather and not standing in line!
I went yesterday and the longest line was the MF that I waited. It was close to 3/4 hr. I didn't jump on the MAV. I looked and it looked close to 1 3/4 hr wait. I am going tomorrow and walk through the Scare Zones and that will be the day for me and my friend who hasn't been in them.
As expected, today produced the usual massive HalloWeekends Saturday crowds. Cars were parked anywhere and everywhere on the peninsula, including a considerable number on the "island" halfway down the Causeway. Magnum and Iron Dragon seemed to be down for the count most of the day and into the evening. Generally speaking there were full queues for just about anything that could produce a line.
"Thank the Phoenicians!"
The crowds were amazing.. I have never seen so many people.. I was shocked watching people walk down the causeway to the cars, the far right lane was coned off so people could walk to their cars. It took over 1/2 hour just to leave the parking lot -- at 9:30pm.
Great day tho.. weather was beautiful... saw two shows, the parade, got on raptor, maverick, mine ride, space spiral, wildcat, and power tower shoot up....
Unfortunately, the hotdogs were not cooked thoroughly, we had bad food, they most likely couldn't keep up with the crowd. - Coasters fries were cooked perfectly, but the burger was a little dry...
Busy day, absolutely, still had a great time. :)
GATEKEEPER-I came, I rode, I was mildly disappointed; until a second ride (rear left) put GateKeeper back on the...it's a nice ride list.
I've been saving their webcam pics since 2007 ( lot of webcam pics) and saved a few from yesterday. The TTDcam always showed the TTD line way outside of the TTD entrance. The Pagoda and HalloWeekend cams always showed a 'sea' of people. Went Friday and goimg today(Sunday),should be a large crowd but not like yesterday.

Just got home... I was there Friday night and all day Saturday. Saturday was as busy as I have ever seen CP. At one point my wife had to wait in a 20 minute line.... for the ladies room. During the evening the lines for both Cornstalkers and Eternity Infirmary ran back almost to the mine ride, and they had employees with signs on sticks indicating to people where the lines began.
