Im supposed to go to cedar point tomorrow which is july 7 2014 but the forecasts are this:
"Showers and thunderstorms likely. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 82. Breezy, with a west wind 21 to 24 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms."
Monday is the day we HAVE TO go because we cant go any other day because my mom and my dads bosses wont let them any more days in the summer. So this is the only day. any advice or is it just a waste of money going on this day? THANK YOU SO MUCH IF YOU HELP ME!!!!!!!!
The wind will be more of a problem than the rain. Some rides do not operate in the wind. Some rides operate in the rain but never in thunder/lightening storms. When it stops raining rides that closed will start up again. Not many people at CP on rainy days so lines will be short. During rainy periods watch the shows, eat and shop.
Hope this helps.
better to go than not go at all !
Some/most of my best days there were those kind of conditions. Potential shorter than normal lines. During breaks for 'storms', time for shows and/or eats. Remember that CP wants the rides operating, so as soon as possible, they're gonna be up and running.
