Arriving to the park this morning and seeing the sign "Skyhawk will not operate today"....
brought back memories of early MF and TTD days :(
MaxAir down all day, which was fine by my tummy and I ;)
My hubby was really looking forward to riding Skyhawk so he was kind of disappointed.
We go to the park so often it's not like he won't get another chance some time soon! :)
The Skyhawk t-shirt is awesome, I just had to own one!! :)
It's early in the season yet, let CP (and some of the rides) get into the groove and all will be fine!!

It's all about getting around the barrels, or over the fences, right leads, no faults, fastest time and looking pretty when done. What's so hard about that?

Man, I felt like taking a nap on there for awhile, and was really hoping they'd just send us off for another spin. At least my seat (8) was in the sun so I was kinda warm.
Haha, seat 8. I do believe you were the guy I was laughing at from the midway for looking like you'd fallen asleep. I don't blame you, I'd have probably been sleeping too.

The worst part was watching the masses flock when it would test. We fell victim to that a couple times, but from sunday to monday they seemed to not make any progress, even though it tested many times on monday. It still just did the same thing....back....and forth....
And with every test, a long line forms...only to slowly dissipate in about a half hour to nothing, even though there are no crew around the ride, just the ride op pushing the buttons in the station.
Not only is Maxair running and running well, it seems they now have a significantly longer cycle on it. It had to be running at least two or three extra full power swings before returning to park with no problems. A longer cycle is fine and dandy with me. :)

The sad thing is that testing maXair some more would have revealed the problem before opening day. I couldn't believe the overall simplicity of the problem when I found out what it was.

Three things you need to fix anything in the universe: duct tape, WD-40, and a hammer. Duct tape if it moves and it shouldn't, WD-40 if it doesn't move and should, and the hammer as the last resort.
