Is Lusty Lil's now called "The Palace Theatre"?

Take this for what's it worth, but I heard that the original name of WWL was "Lusty Lil's Dips". You gotta love rumors.

OTT--don't tell me you remember the Shoot the (sewer) Rapids? it came down--when?
Hey, Damn straight I remember Shoot-The -RAPIDS:)...I was a proud member of Rapids Local 354 in the summer of 1980! Dino, I am sure you remember those "cool" shirts we wore in FTown back then...the ones with the brown yoke across the back.. And the Rapids were retired after the 1981 season...:(
I know I'm reopening an ancient topic but it seems the most appropriate place for this.

I was in the Palace Theater Friday for the first time since 1981. Am I hallucinating or was it theater seating then as opposed to today's table arrangement? I remember attending a vaudeville show there (and as stated above, it was vaudeville then). I had met up with some friends that day (a miserable, rainy day so the park was pretty empty) who were friends with the lead in the show. I distinctly remember us all sitting in the front row to surprise him (he did not know we were there that day) and the look of surprise on his face when he came out, did a pass along the edge of the stage, and recognized us was priceless. My memory is saying this was theater seating then although I suppose it could have been us all sitting at tables along the front. Anyone have any recollection of back then?
