The problem with that is (I think) the magnetic brakes cannot be used as trim brakes if they are used as blocks. They can either stop the train or slow it down.

i hope that they NEVER re-engineer MF...i think, in the long run, i would rather have smaller capacity and a better ride. MF is perfect the way it is..no brakes anywhere except where they have 'em now....
