I was wondering if it's a good idea to have a car at cp, or is it just a waste? Past employees.. tell me what you think!
I am not a past employee, but I have always found it useful to have a car...no matter where I am living.
Knowing someone else who has a car where you live would be the 2nd best thing.

This is an easy question. YES!!! Unless you like getting up an extra hour early and like waiting to go home, having a car is huge. I figured it adds about 1.5 hours to everyday of work. While the Bus is a nice back-up plan, I would have had so many points if I had to catch the bus, I would have been fired. The bus has it's own schedule. And it's not always on time.
If you have a car, Bring it! You can still take the bus if you like.
YEEEEEEEEEEEES!!!! I went without a car in 2003 and it was HELL. Oh i hate to relying on other people when i need to go to the store or just wanted to get something out to eat. I felt like a bum. But, I had a couple of really awesome friends who let me borrow their car every now and then but i really didnt feel right.
One common shift in rides is a 11:30 to whenever. The bus comes at 10:10 and then again right at 11:30. So, you must take the 10:10 bus to be on time. When you get to the park at around 10:40, you then have to wait till like 11:20 to clock in and walk to your ride. A couple of my crew members last year always ask not to be scheduled in at 11:30 because of the bus schedule. Now, the bus schedule could change this season but i dont know. So, my anwser is with 901 if you have a car bring it. No Doubt! Hope this answers your question.

Yes bring your car. In my day you could hitch rides from guests which was always a scream. I met some really loony people but it was tons of fun.
And sometimes you could hitch rides home from the park from guests as well. I would wait at the Marina Gate by the Cedars and stick out my thumb. Someone was always going by. Just an awsome thing to to so long ago. I almost forgot how much fun ride hitching was.
Sheesh, Kredjet! And they didn't even stop to make you feed the horses?

there are no buses in the city of sandusky only taxis. the shuttle bus goes to the mall and meijers i think,so you dont really need a car. its nice to have tho in case you wanna explore sandusky on your days off. i thought it was easier without a car since i had to find a parking place all the time.

I did not have mine last summe and i was bored as hell and felt bad asking people for rides all the time. Though most of them had no problem, i was the one that felt bed.
Hey if anyone ever needs a ride all they have to do is ask.

In the park - Yes, in the upper right corner as you are coming in. At the dorms - Yes, right in front of the buildings (these usually remain full) or off to the right side of the road. You'll have to take this little back road to get to it though.
A car isn't essential, but will make your life so much easier. Bring it if you can.

well i been there 3 years and wehen i did have my car i never used it i sent it home at mid season on one of those seasons i didnt even bring it last season.
If you have a car, Take it with you. Even when I lived on-point and walked to my ride from Cedars and didn't even see my car for weeks. It was great to be able to go to meijers and get an area rug and foam bed padding and stuff that I would have had trouble getting back on a bus. Ultimately it will enrich your season, in those kind of ways. Escpecially if you live on-point it's nice to be able to take a drive and get away for a few hours once or twice during the season.
