Is anyone going June 12th (Thursday)?

My sis just got another job so she is paying for us to go to CP this week!! :) I am too excited. I am moving to Alabama in about a week, and I honestly did not think that we would beable to make it back again before I left.

We are going Thursday, June 12th. Is anyone going this day too? I don't know what we are wearing yet, but our pics are posted up from my last trip report. So if anyone sees us, make sure you say hi. :)

We will probably be spending a lot of time by MF, Maverick, TTD, Raptor, and perhaps Gemini. My sister doesn't care for Magnum at all, so I will probably only get a ride or 2 over there. :(

Wish I could, but I'll be gone Friday and Monday. Plus I have golf on Wednesdays.

You do any storm chasing close to home this weekend? I wish I could have gotten some pictures of our backyard. The golf course was completely flooded with only a few high ground areas above water. It was too dark for my flash though, I had wanted to get some good pics to send to severe studios.

Moving to Alabama eh? Change of career?

Yep, I am moving down there to become a zookeeper. Their docents (volunteers) get to handle animals, while the Detroit Zoo's docents do not. So I can get more hands on experience at the Birmingham Zoo. Plus their economy down there is WAY better than up here.

Sounds like a fun atmosphere and you get to work with creatures who don't give you much guff (unlike my job working at an internet service provider).

Yes, sometimes I think it would be better to work along side animals rather than humans. :) lol. I have wanted to be a zookeeper ever since I was a little girl. I would love to be a field biologist and go to Africa to study animals. But that dream kinda went out the window when I started a family. So a zookeeper is the next best thing. :)

Don't worry. I hear Africa is really hot anyway. :)
