How about a neutral beige with red track. I have something here that shows what that might look like...yeah, here it is...
Those who have been noticing longer waits for Iron Dragon in the last few years...have you not also noticed that one of the trains is missing?

I figured the new colors were to make it blend in better with Dragster, since the trees are gone. But it looks weird because the train colors were not changed, and the station still has its old colors.
Either that, or they had a bunch of orange paint left over from another project...

I understand how important these smaller less intense coasters are to newbies. I bawled my eyes out after my sister and aunt forced me to ride Blue Streak not once, but twice way back in 1976. The ride that helped me overcome the fear that BS instilled in me was CCMR. My issue with these rides is that there are far more comfortable family coasters out there than some of the smaller ones CP has. Corkscrew screws up my neck most of the times I ride it. CCMR does not fit adults comfortably. Iron Dragon is pretty boring and I would imagine parts are probably getting more difficult to replace.
The thing is, many of these rides could easily be replaced with family coasters that would actually be fun for the entire family. ID could be replaced by a coaster like Freedom Flyer at Fun Spot Orlando. CCMR could be replaced by a Gravity Group family coaster like Wacky Taxi or Kentucky Flyer. Corkscrew could be replaced with an inverting coaster that is closer to Mine Blower, but not nearly as intense or rough.
Like I said, it would be really nice if their family coaster were fun and comfortable to everyone and today's engineering allows for this to happen.
On the idea that the longer lines occur due to one less train. I’ve noticed that it runs pretty well with two trains. There doesn’t seem to be too much of a gap of time between when one train leaves the station and the other returns. I’ve always remembered it having to slow down a whole lot and sometimes even stop on the lifts when they ran three. Iron Dragon just always seems to have a line. Even on days where it isn’t crowded.
