Iron Dragon

Does anyone know who or what department decides on color schemes throughout the park? I'm assuming it's the Planning & Development Department.

Vince,

I think he was asking if it was cream before it was gray.

my_name_is_sean,

The overall park attendance was also up this year, so it would stand to reason that all lines would be up a little bit.

A new paintjob without looking like a sore thumb could have been done. I think it was just laziness in the creativity department that caused them to use the colors they did. Like the colors on WildCat. That took some balls because the colors are so out there. I actually like the new colors and it brought, appearance wise, a new life to WC. Why they just mimic'd a nearby ride to come up with colors for Dragon, I don't know.

The overall attendance was up this year? What did you read, they were down 3 or 4 percent from 2003. Cedar Fair itself was up, not Cedar Point.

Ok we are off topic now. Here is my opinion I love the trains that Iron Dragon has it just seems that they go perfect with the ride and if they changed them that would be weird. As for the color I like both of the color schemes the new one makes the ride stand out and look new but the old one just went along better with the name.

Putting new trains would mean they'd have to modify the ride, like the station and other clearance problems. I'd like to see CP concentrate on the bigger and better rides at the park, rather than a 17 year old coaster.

Although I think those new trains would be awesome, I'm going to have to agree with Gomez.

The new trains wouldn't be better. We already have a floorless. We want variety and having a kind like ID is a great way for littler kids to start off.

We don't have a floorless. That's Mantis next door, and thats a Standup coaster. I think the new trains on Iron Dragon would look awesome. It would probably add more speed to the ride because they weigh less.

Last I checked Raptor and WT don't have a floor.

Well then why didnt you say inverted? And I agree with Fastball, having a suspended coaster like ID adds veriety and is good for the people who are looking for a nice relaxing ride.
