Jeff: you musn't use Windows to do much if you've never gotten a blue screen.
Which part of "I'm a Windows developer" wasn't clear to you? I'm in front of the box ten hours a day, and like Walt, frequently have a combination of Visual Studio .NET, Photoshop, several instances of IE, Trillian, Eudora, Word, Enterprise Manager, etc., all running at the same time.
Like I said, spend some time in the .NET development community and get back to me when you have an informed opinion.

I'm running an XP box at work and I don't think I've ever seen a BSOD on it yet, though there have been times when it simply crashed. But then, I seldom ever had crashes on the same box running 98SE. And on my OS-X box, I've yet to see a kernel panic, and except for when DVD Player crashes the window manager, the worst that one gets is the SBBOD, which is usually easy to fix with a force-quit.
I don't happen to like Windows, but that doesn't mean I can't force it to be reliable.
