Internet?

I'll be bringing my laptop to CP and I want to stay at Cedars. The only thing is that they don't have internet hook ups there do they? Is there anywhere that I could hook my laptop up to get some service? In the t.v. lounge at Cedars maybe? Thanks.

Depends on your ISP. If you have a national ISP like MSN, AOL, or EarthLink, you should have no problem, but if you're using a local ISP, you may need to find new serviice.

I'm using Netzero, it's $10 a month for unlimited access and there's a local number (it's a 567 area code but it's local). A call won't go through in housing unless it's a local number, long distance calls can't be placed w/out a calling card. :)

Why all the worry over not having axcess to the net? In 1980 we did not have the internet and actually had to interact with others to have some fun or just be content to ride the rides in the park, or chase girls and stuff. Leave the computer at home and take as little to CP as possible.
