Even though they weren't password protected or anything...I am not sure if you really should post links to people's personal photo sites.

I guess I wouldn't want to have my photos linked on a message board without my permission.

The thing that gets me about those photos are the ones of some one on top of the station and electrical room of TTD. You can almost bet that the person that did that will get a non rehire now as many Park Op. bosses see this stuff. Having worked there for 7 years they will not be thrilled to see that.

Not to sound like a cad, but if you put photos on a site like webshots, anyone can post a link tp them legally. youre pretty much asking the world to look at them...unless you pay for protection. Obviously, you can get rights to photos from your own website, but not one thats public. Webshots has been a goldmine for humor websites showing people's ridiculous photos for awhile. :)

I think that is the worst picture of me.....ever.

A wedding at Raptor !?!?! That is pretty cool!

So who was it? Was this a known thing? Was this because of Coasters or where they met?

I'm super curious, not that I could get my girl to agree. I did plan on proposing on the beach in front of Magnum. But she already has the ocean picked as the alter.

But yeah... that had to be pretty sweet.

Hey these photos came from my roomates webshots, thats right her personal photo place. They were for the crew to see not for the entire world. Anyways all of those pictures were from the 04' season and we were all rehired back. And you said they were while working, who knows that. Dragster crew comes in way before the park even opens. And for a guest to purposely try to get us into trouble? Why would you try to get us in trouble when we are the ones that make your day enjoyable?

Oh sorry, I wasn't trying to get you in trouble at all. I edited it out. But like someone said above, anyone can view Webshots albums, so if it is going to hurt your job, or it's personal to you, then you should probably have your friend post them privately somewhere. *** Edited 11/20/2005 1:15:45 AM UTC by ttdboy111***

Then maybe they shouldn't be where the whole world can see them? There are easy ways to password protect photo albums.

Walt is 100% correct. If your photos are sensitive enough that they would hurt your work relationship with Cedar Point, you should at least password protect them.

My pictures from my days at CP are kept safely off the internet.

Cedar Point doesn't like photos of certain things to go online. They would really hate to have schematic photos of rides, or pictures of employees doing really bad things.

Thank you for taking them off. I understand that she did make them public but at the time Im sure that she wasn't thinking they would be posted on point buzz. Anywho we have alot of fun pictures that im sure no one has that are of no offense so if anyone wants to see them I will be posting them of the 05' crew sometime next week and I will link them up.

There was a story recently in the Penn State student newspaper about university police using online photo albums to determine who rushed the field after the Ohio State game.

Emilie Romero said a university police officer called her Nov. 1 and said he had identified her as a student who had rushed the field after the Ohio State game from her photos on her Webshots, an online photo album she maintains.

Romero said she posted a photo on her Webshots that clearly showed her on the field after the Ohio State game.

"I didn't know they could do that," she said. "This really scares me."

With online photo albums and blogs, are kids giving away their privacy by not thinking about what they put out there? Her quote seems a bit naive to me.

If the owner of the photos didn't want people on the Internet to see them the photos shouldn't be on the Internet.

There's nothing wrong with linking to a page that the user isn't paying for bandwidth for.

I don't think people think, Walt. If you go through Myspace.com, a good number of profiles of people under 21 include pictures of them drinking. Not only do they think their parents won't read/look, but I guess authorities too?

It always makes me wonder abouit people when you read blogs/etc and people clearly state their age as being under 21, then they go into detail about using Alcohol.

I guess people my age (and younger) don't really understand being private about their information. Granted, I give out quite a bit of information on my web site, and anyone could easily find me... But when I post pictures, text or anything else on the internet, I always ask myself "Would I mind my parents reading/seeing this?" or "Would I care if this was printed on the front page of [insert paper here]?"

John, i'm not sure exactly what you mean by your last sentence - I hate it when someone hotlinks to my web site. In fact, if you link to any of my images from an outside source, you'll get a BANDWIDTH MONKEY image instead. I guess you mean you don't see a problem with it if the user isn't paying for bandwidth, which I tend to agree.

I found a MySpace of an old friend not too long ago. I found enough information to steal his identity and get a credit card in his name.

I still couldn't find an email because apparently that is too personal or something. :)
