I'm heading towards Civil Engineering, maybe one day I might get a job in the Amusment Industry, it'd be fun...

I guess we are all into the wame interests from what I can see. I will actually have three degrees when I graduate, which makes for some long days when you are working full time and going to school. It will be worth it in the end though.
Next semester I am taking a Pro-E course to add to my AutoCAD experience. My employer is also sending me for training in SolidWorks which is a great system to work in.

I've got a Pro/E class this semester. We're using Wildfire 2 but the textbook is Wildfire 3. Apparently the software that was *SUPPOSED* to be installed still hasn't been. It's an easy class though, at least I think so.
Are you going to continue on the CS track exit? Or is this just a temporary thing for your current job?
At this point, I'm open to both. I've always been on the conceptual side of ME, and I have taken part in building a real wodden roller coaster:). But, I've been working in IT for the last 7 or 8 years, so that's what my resume points me to. I've also been in sound system design/engineering for the last 4.
Honestly, I hope to stay at this place for many years to come. They treat me right and the pay is amazing. Not to mention it's technology, and that's always changing.
With all my experiences, I always have something to fall back on, but they're mostly just hobbies. However, if I had to pick something that I liked doing the most, I would say that working with sound design is pretty cool, although it's hella stressful.
Ah. I thought IT stuff was for me coming out of highschool, but I don't have as much patience with technology as I would with some sort of engineering project. I've always found myself opting to build various objects myself rather than buy one, or just make some random object, and try to improve on it and such. With my computers, I just get mad at them. :P And how'd you pull off getting to work on a real coaster? Although, I have thought about talking to the people in the co-op program to see if someone like Intamin or B&M would be willing to participate in the program and want an intern for a semester.
Can't beat a job where you're treated right and paid good, I don't blame you. Especially if you like the job, can't beat that at all.
