"Is there a line today?" "How many trains are you running?" "Is so and so working?"
.. the ride phones are not accesable from outside lines anymore.. They used to be but when they updated the PBX system, they took out that option.
Now I'm sure that there is some backdoor so higher-up's can get in if they HAVE to... or they can just be forwarded.. But no.. you won't find a list of ride #'s and I strongly encourage anyone who knows any of them not to post them.
Another added distraction that ride-op's do NOT need.
The thread about some of us getting calls AT rides was being done from within the park. By people who knew the ride #'s and knew we were there..

PBX is a great phone system. We have one where I work. I'm sure its set so all you need is the right extension...
time to start up the War dialer... i just hope i dont end up playing Global Thermonuclear War with the CP WOPR. :) ------------- front car 24/7.
"Please do not disturb operator."
Operator is disturbed enough already.

The PBX at CP is set to not allow outside lines access to blocks of #'s on the inside... the only block allowed access is through the public access # for the dorms... and even from there, you can't access any # NOT connected to a dorm. Even if you know the ride of building #.. it is not accessable..
Trust me on this one.. heheh
