Why would noise from a jetski cause them to close the coster during the show, or even noise from a crowd, explai?

Wicked Twister is a great ride! Just because it looks simple soesn't mean it sucks! I wouldn't mind having it in my back yard!

If i'm not mistaken he was taking about the noise from the roller coaster and the jetski's would be loud, correct me if I am wrong seederpoint.

A STUNT SHOW IS ABOUT WHAT YOU SEE NOT WHAT YOU HEAR NO NEED TO WORRY ABOUT THE COASTER NOISE. ALSO IS THIS TYPE OF COASTER VERY LOUD ? SOMEONE THAT HAS RIDDEN EXCELERATOR
ok well i'm gonna type this in all small caps to make up for the lack of them in otto's post. i don't believe that anyone said that the jetski show is about noise they just commented on the fact there would be a good amound of noise coming from the show (if there would be one) and the new roller coaster. and yes i have but its not that loud but thats not the topic of this post so if we could stop going off on little tangents and stay on the topic.

I hope it's landscaped, it could be part of the midway, they always do keep you as close to the rides as possible. Just as thrilling to watch for those who won't ride.....keep them as close to the action as possible.
oh ops I though I had cured myself of that. Sorry
hey otto i was just messing around with you sorry if it seemed like I was being mean.

Your not close to the action as far as Millenium Force goes! You can't even view the first drop very well from inside the park, only from the axis rode. I think the new ride will be similar. I doubt the midway will go under the ride due to safety concerns! You will just have a decent view of the launch side from the currently existing, slightly modified midway!

actually there are many different places to view mf goes. and on 16, i think it would be really cool if they put some trees and the que line in there to use up that space
Joe, I don't know if the midway will go under #16 or not buy safety won't be the reason it won't. We are all going to have to walk under a ride called the Corkscrew to get to #16.
Oh really u walk under the corkscrew, no sh**!!! The only thing is the corkscrew isn't traveling at 100 plus mph! Maybe that's why they wouldn't want people walking under it! Hey maybe they will just let u climb the tower too, why the h*** not!

What does speed have to do with anything? If anything, the slower Corkscrew would be more dangerous because it is over you for many tenths of a second longer than #16 would be over you.
Hmmm. What would u rather be hit by objects moving at 40 mph or so, or objects moving at 100 plus mph? Accidents do happen, this ride is a little more extreme than the corkscrew, i mean i may be wrong but i think it is, not unless that huge tower is just for looks. Look at the Wicked Twister, why do think they have the walls by the line when u walk under the ride? Maybe its so people don'y get hit with objects that come off the ride, hats, glasses, arms, legs, people, wheels, trains, etc.. I'm thinking they might do the same thing here!

Well, I'd rather not be hit by either. However, the reason for the added safety measures on Wicked Twister and Raptor is because the trains are open (ie the feet dangle) and nothing is going to prevent shoes from flying off.

MF sails over the queue line while it is still moving pretty fast. Nobody was concerned with that.

Look at Xcel, you walk underneath that. Its only the entrance to the ride but whoever is going to ride it walks under it. Its pretty fun (while the ride is closed) to stand at the front of the entrance, watch it test and flirt with the cute (and very nice) ride-op who is there to tell people that the ride is closed. And the exit of the ride that leads you to the photo booth is right next to the launch with only a 6-7 foot fence inbetween. One time while in line I saw some dumb ass kid wait for the ride to launch and then throw a baseball "cap" to his friend sitting in the front seat of the ride. Alas, the friend didnt catch it and it fell to the ground. The best part was watch the stupid kids trying to get the hat back...lol @ them. When they couldnt get it they decided to lift one of the kids (the smallest of the 4) and he hopped the fences, grabbed the hat and somehow found a way back onto the midway without anyone seeing him. Now that is something I'd worry about. Funny as hell to watch though.
Joe, you really over reacted on that one!
