With the trains being low to the ground and going by at very fast speeds I think they would't keep anyone inside the oval.
I'm not so sure. The oval is pretty big---bigger than Xcelerator's. The queue there winds between the top hat and the oval mid-point, with the ramp to the station relatively near and parallel to the launch track. Seems to me that even with #16's higher speeds, the queue could go in there.
