It's all dependent on personal opinion. There is no "best".

I will say that Kalahari is the place to go for size and thrill.

Dont get me wrong though, because all of Sandusky's waterparks have great qualities. It's like John said, it's more or less based on your own opinion and what you like.

Kalahari has a water rollorcoaster and it has very comfortable rooms, a huge arcade, put put and many others. It is the best resort I have ever stayed in, not just indoor water parks.

Having visited the three big parks in Sandusky, I've got to say Kalahari. I was there two weeks ago and the expansion is just fantastic. They have a nice section for small kids however, most attractions are geared for bigger/more adventurous kids. They probably have the best restaurants etc. of the three. They have a spa also. The place is just huge. It's got an African theme.

Great Wolf is very nice. It's got a rustic lodge theme. I would say it's a good choice for smaller kids, not as overwelming as Kalahari. They don't have as many extreme slides etc. They have a game room and a couple restaurants

Castaway Bay is nice because it sits on the water. The water park is geared a little more for older kids than GW. The don't have a lazy river like the other two. It has a Fridays and another restaurant. There is a game room and a spa too. CB has a tropical theme.

All three have activities for the kids.

If there aren't any kids going it's Kalahari for sure IMO.
