Improvements to Raptor ??

Not only would it be stupid to renevate it, but it would take a hell of alot of work and money when they could be putting innew rides like a flyer.

The only flaw of Raptor is that there is another one. But at least it was first.

The only thing I would like to have improved on Raptor is the final turn into the brake run. Every time I come out of that turn my head hits off the harness. Other than that, the ride needs no improvements. It is still one of the best rides in the park and I will always continue to ride it.

I agree with you that last turn always gives me a headache!!!! Yea but other than that the ride is auesome!!!!!!!!

The Cobra roll is a bit of a headsnapper in the front seat.

I believe B&M fixed the turn into the brakes on the ride in Japan. I know I read that somewhere. Another than that turn, Raptor is a great coaster.

This is like saying you want to make take away Magnum's lift hill and make it launched. Great rides shouldn't be touched. DT on the other hand...

Just be sure to stay away from Space Spiral, Giant Wheel, and Wicked Twister. :)

Why does everyone dislike DT so much?(I have not riden it yet)

I hated the fact that it was in total darkness, it was the most stupidest coaster I've ridden. I found the fact that it was a bobsled coaster cool though. To bad I had no F'ing clue where I was and couldn't brace myself for the turns which made the entire experince very unlikable...

It's a great ride for families. But the reason I hate it is because of its location. It looks ugly and takes up some prime real estate right on the beach. The recent improvement to the Wicked Twister Midway are like day and night to what it used to look like. DT is the only thing standing in the way to complete the midway.

check the midway cam there is a crane doing something at raptor.

OMG, they ARE re-profiling the loop. Man was I wrong about them not changing a classic.
