If you're part of the rollback club...

I've had 4. 2004, 2006, 2008 and 2014. In 2004 it was total luck, it was in August and not cold out at all. It was only a few cars after an outage had ended, the first one they loaded with all rows (they had sent the first couple with the back cars empty). When we came back down they actually backed us up to the platform, went down mechanical again and made everyone get back in the queue. Then a little while later we re-loaded and made it over.

06 and 08 were after rain delays in May each year, 08 my friend and I got front car of the first train of the day with people in it.

2014 I finally got one with my wife who i didn't know yet in the earlier years. We were in the station and it went down for about 45 minutes. Most people left the line so we moved up to 3rd row of the first train. When they loaded and sent us we JUST didn't make it, stopped for a second and dropped back. That one was my favorite.

Overall I am really lucky. I only go to the park 6-10 days a year and usually not in May anymore when its cold. If I never get another one its OK but they are really fun. Getting the double launch is great and its really fun to hear peoples reactions on the train. I remember in 2014 the whole car was hoping for one as we loaded and went to the launch position.

I did. I don't remember why but we got a call to see if we wanted to come ride one afternoon. For some reason they had us only ride two at a time in the front seat so we pretty much knew we would get a rollback.

Never on TTD, but a mild one on Maverick this season. Girlfriend was freaking out, I thought it was great. Pretty sure it was intentional because someone pulled their phone or something out to film.

Seems like every time I ride Maxair, I get one. That thing just won't make it over the top...

Started riding TTD in 2003 when it opened, one or two multi-day trips per year. We got our first rollback during CoasterMania! late ERT this past June... Then got another one the same night! That moment of realization you’re not gonna make it is awesome, and the trip backwards is pretty fun too. Takes forever to get back to the station, though. Both rollbacks were followed by unloading the train and a short downtime, we didn’t just reset and relaunch. But lots of fun...

I finally had my first one a few days ago on closing day! What a way to end the 2017 season!
