Hey everyone, I just want to pick at your brains.
So I have asked a bunch of my friends about this. What if Cedar Fair went under and was unable to save Cedar Point? What ride at Cedar Point would you fight for? Also would you fight to save the park itself? Everyone had good answers but no one would agree on one ride.
So what is your picks.
Mine is Magnum because of its history..

Easy, Disaster Transport.

For me, it would have to be Millennium Force

what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard.
Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it.
I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

The Midway Carousel. It represents the history of Cedar Point.

The Hobo

Magnum, I would save it by making it my own private coaster ;).

^Umm... Why do you want to save Disaster? Read the title more carefully!

I would have to save Blue Streak with it being Cedar Point's oldest coaster.

I would save White Water Landing, one of my favorite rides the entire family could enjoy together....oh wait...!!

I read it carefully!! I was being sarcastic!! Take a look at all the anti- disaster transport threads and posts throughout the years on here.

Actually I would save Gemini since it scared the bejeevers out of me for years before I was tall enough to ride it,and now is one of my favorites!!

This is a hard one. It would either be Blue Streak or Magnum, just because of the history behind both of those.

I would save Disaster Transport as its the best ride in the park IMO even if it can be an Eye sore.

Nooo, Millie. That ride has too many memories for me.
But Ripcord is fun...

Actualy, I think I would want to save the frog hopper.

Gemini! (It's one-of-a-kind, smooth, packed-full of airtime, and FUN!)

Maverick and Millennium Force are both amazing coasters...but we can find similar rides all over the place, and they could be easily duplicated.

Definately Magnum.

^^Granted - Gemini is a fun coaster when both sides are operating. But "packed full of airtime"? Not that I've noticed.

For me, it's a toss up between Raptor and Magnum. Not sure which one I would choose.

If Cedar Fair were to sell off every ride at Cedar Point I would personally purchase Blue Streak and park it on my cousins' 18 acres in Goodrich, MI. I pick Blue Streak because it's not only still a great ride but it'd be the best bang for the buck ride there.
