Just to let everyone know Brandon always blames me for getting enough "refreshments" then again he was the one that stood in the station for an hour while I rode!

Opening Day! Why? Duhhhh! The season would just be beginning and MF would still be the tallest, fastest coaster in the WORLD!!

Well Dan, I would have rode more if I would have had a full stomach. ;) This is the only time I will say this...I can't blame you because I was just as excited to ride as you were! (but it's too bad we didn't take advantage of the breakfast buffet) :)

Dan & Brandon--dont feel bad-Danni and I didnt have a CLUE about the breakfast buffet either, stopped and ate on way to park that morning.
However still took advantage off all the other FREE food and drinks and lets not forget our awesome MF "Media Day 2000" shirts!!!
Yea Media Day was definitely a fun day!!

Welcome back Raptor riders-how was your flight??
Definitely opening day! Lots of people, lots of excitement, running like a bunch of damn kids so we could get in line for Millenium Force... and topped off hours later with delicious sandwiches from some little deli we found on the mainland. heaven on earth!
AAA Preview Day or the last day of the season when I met all the cool GTTPers. :)

Without a doubt it would have to be any of the Millennium Mania days in Sept. When else can you ride MF 25 times in 4 hours and only have wait times of one train?
Lets hope it happens again.
How do you get invited to Media Day.

Proud to be a Cedar Point Fanatic.
Thursday night before Coastermania...my first ride on MF! Almost the front seats. And with my brother who had not been to the park in nearly 20 years. We had such a blast! We behaved like kids all weekend.
The last Saturday was a trip too, but I don't think I would ever like to see it that crowded again. Great weather for October!
Since I'm a newbie here I thought I would make a grand entrance, well its not all that grand.....
If I could go back to one day last season I would go back to the first Halloweekend, because my friends and I got on almost every coaster there and we finally rode the Ferris Wheel....I have this strange obsession with the Ferris wheel and all my friends hate it, but they finally rode it with me and that's when I found out that I hate the Ferris wheel and I'll never ride again...that is till the season opens...I hate it yet I love it...
I think it was August 9th, our first day of the season. It was hot, humid, miserable, but we got three MF rides that day including two in a row

Now that I think of it some of us GTTPers are so close we share clothes. Jeff Spartan wore my socks opening day and I wore LuvRaptor's jacket for the morning riding time on MF.

Well the day that I would go back would definetly be the 4th of July! That weekend was great and I haven't laughed that hard in a LONG time. The fireworks were awesome and the comic on the beach was pretty funny too. You should have seen us gathering chairs for our big group to sit on. The greatest day of my life is probably one of the days I was at Cedar Point!
August 1, 2k...My first trip to CP since Snake River was put there. I hadn't been on a rollercoaster in over ten years, and that was at Geauga Lake (but those coasters weren't "true" coasters). I wish I could go back and ride the Millennium Force on that day. I was still a new "coasterer" that I didn't want to give it a shot that day. But I went back about a month and a half later and rode it twice...two weeks later again after that and rode it 3 more times. I still wish I went on it back in August. Raptor was my first coaster, and well, maybe because of that, it is still my favorite.
