Which day would you pick and why?
(remember you can only have 1 day)
For me it would have to be Coastermania. The only difference I would have made is I would have rode Raptor during AM ERT time and RAN the other way from MF.

I'd go back to that extremely cold Saturday in October, you know, wind chill, hail. We rode the coasters we love so many times that we actually got tired of riding. But have no fear we came back the very next day for the same thing. Layers, layers, layers, that was the key that weekend.
I would go back to June 21st when I went on the 8th Grade School Trip.It was a blast, my first ride on MF, hanging out with friends, 2 out of 3 of the best things in my life. Coasters, Friends, and family!
Coastermania all the way! I was just trying to re-live that day this weekend. It was my first ride on MF, first night ride on Mantis, only 2 night rides on MF, best experience I've ever had on Magnum(midnight, sea breeze, and ejector--1-3:)) 3 walk-ons on Raptor, and I spent 19 hours in the park.
My last trip with my cousin, we had so much fun. She is sooo cooo

Number 1 And Only Cedar Point.
October 14th.. the day the gates were closed because the park was too packed.
Didn't get to ride alot (except my usual morning Mantis ride and 2 MF laps) but got to help out the crew at Red Garter. After all the things they had done for me by entertaining me when it was raining, making sure that my beer cup was always full, I was more than glad to help them stock and run stuff back and forth on what ended up being thier busiest day of the season.
Just look for me at the bar in 2001. I will be there for the ceremonious 1st beer of the season.

The day I finally got to ride MF in the front seat!!
Had to be the Red Cross Auction ride on the 13th. What a blast.
Media day... it's nice to not have to wait in line, and casually stroll to the platform knowing you'll get a ride.

Millennium Force laps: 50
I had a day in August that was simply charmed. On the way in, street crews were paving route 6. I made it to the Chausee by a few car lengths, just missing a literal sea of red brake lights from the traffic pile up on route 6. That event, it seems, was an omen of things to come. The ride day started with a front seat trip on Millennium Force and progressed with front seat rides on all the major coasters. The ticket to ride program worked flawlessly, allowing us to ride, dine, and enjoy the park to the fullest. The second to the last ride was on Iron Dragon, where we were briefly stopped at the top of the second lift hill for about two or three minutes, just long enough to enjoy the breeze and the view. The Omega ride of the day was Millennium Force again, amazingly in the front seat for a second time in the same day.
I wouldn’t have believed it if I hadn’t done it myself. The only thing that came close was Millennium Mania, second day, with 33 contiguous Raptor rides.

I'd also say media day because of what Jeff said plus the free food, and refreshments!

My day would be the day in June when MF broke down and everbody left the line, I waited and 10 mins later, I was back in line almost ahead of everyone else.:)
For me it would have to be the morning that I witnessed Magnums chain breaking, while I was working at the triple challenge race park.

13May00, The Red Cross Auction ride. It was worth every cent!
MF laps=50
Coastermania, riding raptor over and over in the morning and then mantis at night. Those night rides were the best ever on mantis. Especially with jo and robin innes.

I would have to say the first sunday of the M.F. ert times in Late September for season pass holders only. Hardly anybody knew about it because the newsletter hadn't been mailed yet, only about 54 of us were there in the pooring rain, riding M.F. as many times as we could for an hour straight.
