I recently applied and was wanting someone to email me. This is if you can hire. I have a few questions about my application.

What department? If its in Park Services then you can email Jenn, the person who hired me this year too. Or, call 1-800-668 JOBS and just hit the number that corresponds to the department that you put down. Does this help?

Even if you didn't apply for Park Services you could still talk to Jenn, she has all the answers (and I am sure she appreciates my continual plugs for her "information hotline"). Hang tight crazy gal, I would be hard pressed to think that she wouldn't check this site at least once today...so I am sure you will hear from her soon! She'll help you out if she can!

Hey Crazygal, I'm a campus ambassador for University of Akron, I'll help you out with your app, and if you want an interview I can do so too. Ok.. zone 34.. you busted me :) I was tempted NOT to post just so you would think I actually didn't check this page today. Hey..it's the last thing I do after putting in my usual 15 hour day ( my life is so exciting when the park is not open).. and thanks for the information line plug ( you would have made me rich by now if I could charge for each call I get!!) Crazygal, our campus ambassadors are a great source of information about working at CP. If Zips hasn't already answerd all your questions I would really be surprised :) As for an interview.. most hiring managers are available for phone interviews between 8:00-5:00 Monday - Friday. You can reach them at 1-800-668-5627. I am not sure if Campus Ambassadors are authorized to do phone interviews.. but Zips could probably answer this?? ( yes.. Heather.. something I ACTUALLY don't know.. but you can bet I am going to find out tomorrow :) ). Also, there are 2 - 3 managers in every division that are authorized to hire for ALL departments in the park. If you are not able to get in contact with a hiring manager from your first job choice, you could ask to speak to one of the company recruiters. Those managers have hiring authority for any job.. regardless if it is thier department or not . OK Zone 34.. how that I have proven you right.. once again.. I can go to bed now!
