Ideas for on-ride pictures

Anyone have a plan on what they are going to do yet? I was thinking of trying to wear some shirt and *TRY* to take it off (somehow) and have a totally diffrent color one on under it. So the picture would have me with 2 diffrent shirts on.

If you have time, that's a good idea. I'd actually like to get a "natural" shot for my first ride.

That's Ridiculous™

Thats a pretty good idea Shawn. But I'm with you Anonymous. I'm gonna go with the "natural" shot for the first ride. But after that I might try to do something. I'm not sure yet but I might do something like the classic "playing dead", but I'll do that for the second camera so that it looks like I died on the ride. I have 41 days to think of something so I'm sure I'll think of something good by May.
Well this would be a tricky one and i guess kind of cool. But it would take a long time to get it just right. Assuming the pictures are next to each other ( not on top of each other) you could make it look like you are giving yourself a "high-five". First picture have your right hand up and out to the side and look to your right. Second picture have your left hand up and out to the side and look to your left. (lol may be stupid but who cares)

I'm sure that with two different picture spots we will see people doing some hilarious things. I like the idea of the changing shirts. As far as the high fiving yourself idea, that would only work well if the cameras were on opposite sides at each photo spot. If the launch camera was on your right and the finish camera was also on your right, you would have to reach accross the picture to make it work.

I'm gonna try the changing shirts idea. I'll let you guys see on the evening of the 3rd if I can do it. If not I will just let you see the picture.

Cedar Po!nt Rocks My Socks

I once yawned on the Raptor. Everybody in the foto booth got a big gas out of it. Needless to say, I bought the pic. Something to think about.
My first trip to CP I got a pic on Magnum reading a book. The girls at the booth loved it. Since then I have also got pics reading books on MF and Raptor. If you don't want to carry a book, a park map works well too.
What book were you reading? lol

i have had a bunch of funny pics with the on ride fotos like sleeping on all but the MFer cause it is fun to see how far back your hair stands lol! on of the faves is looking like i am about to puke or get a camera and look like i am taking a pic of the camera taking my pic!

On Magnum I was reading Objectivism: The Philosophy of Ayn Rand. On MF and Raptor I had Anarchy, State, & Utopia.
Not really sure if this should go here, but what's the point in starting another thread...

...What about putting a webcam (or moving one) to the top of TTD and pointing it toward the front of the park. Then you could see the queues and anything else you wanted to look at in that direction. Just a thought.

Does anyone know where the cameras will be located? It would be awesome if the "after" photo was on the top of the tophat(which I think it will be placed). When it is foggy like it was the other day it would be very creepy looking with barely being able to see you in the picture and pitch white behind you. Can you imagine?

Does it stop at 420 feet...........?¿?
No you still have to spiral down

I'm not an old fogey, I'm just an old coaster rider..

On millennium force one time i bought one of those hats for $8 that have all those spikes and i put it on for the picture of mf. that would be kinda like the changing shirts thing if you werent wearing the hat for one and then you threw it on for the second one. everyone thought it was pretty funny.just an idea for everybody

40 days left and the same day, its my birthday, coincidence? i think not..........

dont bother

I once enjoyed a nice can of Cherry Coke on Millenium Force (I obviously didn't really drink it, or it would have been a real mess). I thought it looked kind of cool.

Just wondering, how do you do stuff like this? Do you have to sneak the book on or something? I remember my friend and I tried to take a fake Gameboy on Magnum once and the ride op said we had to leave it with our bookbags at the station.

Keep it in a pocket or under your shirt. The ops can't dictate whether or not you can bring something on the ride if they don't know you have it in the first place.

What is most anticipated event of 2003? the debut of Dragster, the release of Metallica's new album, the release of Terminator 3, or the release of Matrix:Reloaded...tough call.

It really shocks me that you guys will sit here and try to figure out ways around the rules that have been put in place to keep you safe.

Hope no one ever gets hurt by you guys doing this stuff and if you do get caught.. Good job Ops..
