I wanna Quit working for CP

Ok now I really love my job and take pride in it. But in the bayside dorms or in general everywhere there's parties 24/7 it seems like I'm always sleeping and people are always so inconsiderate and rude all these underage kids drinking being loud blasting music at 2am I can't take it. I've called 3 times about it just because I wanna get to work I need sleep. I love my job but it's almost like I wanna quit because of dorms. Cedar point seemed like they had a strict policy on dorms I fallow them to the fullest and one other does too. Cedar Point is a great job if you love to party and don't care about pursuing in your life. All I wanted was hospitality on my resume and I can't take the dorms. By the way it's the 3rd dorm I've been in I don't wanna quit because I don't want to have a bad Backround check in future what should I do? I've only been here for a little Over a week.

What department do you work in?

House keeping and I did already ask they aren't doing transfers it's irritating af.

They may not be doing transfers now, because I don't think all the housing is open yet. If you can hang in there about 3 more weeks, you can probably get a housing transfer then.

How do they allow that in the dorms. I would think that the Cedar Point Police or the Management would get onto those people?

It's April 11th, and you are in your third dorm already? In just a week's time?

Where is everyone working? The park isn't open for 4 weeks yet.

Someone has to wash down the food stands, games and gift shops. Check in the food supplies and merchandise. Stock the games and gift shops, And as the rides are reassembled, wash them. That stuff doesn't just magically happen. And lets not forget about cleaning the hotel rooms and making the beds. There are all kinds of fun things to do before the park opens.

Yep. The year I worked at the park, I arrived early and was, one day, tasked with cleaning the walls and floor of a walk-in freezer (which, fortunately, wasn't operating at the time).

I never really thought about how much prep work goes in before opening the park, so that makes sense.

Have you tried filing a complaint to the RA or something , or some kind've authority over the dorms? Here in College I have the same exact problem.

You said you have called about the partying 3 times already... what was the result of those calls? If you like working there try to get it resolved through management first. Quitting usually isn't a good choice, but that kind of thing does not go on a background check so do not worry about that aspect of it.

Cedar Point Dorms....RA...I chuckled..

Call CP Police, it may suck right now but trust me, the partying will stop once the long OC's and stuff start hitting everyone in the park. Plus if you can transfer out of Bayside and go to the dorms you may have better luck, I only had a few issues while there but never noise issues except for like down days & stuff (Thursdays and stuff when the park was closed for Halloweekends, etc.)

Talk to your manager about it.

Cedar point is a great place to visit and a terrible place to work. My advice? Look for an apartment in Sandusky.
