I need tickets!

when the season rolls around, where do i get some cheap tickets. no wayy im payin full price for them things. how much is the discound?

Meijer has tickets on sale for a discount, you could request a Getaway Guide from the Point that will have coupons for the same discount as well. Or you could stay at a CP resort and get the tickets at an even steeper discount.

I don't know if Pepsi will do it again this year, but last year my boyfriend found a bunch of 10 dollar off cans for a day pass, and they could also be used for Halloweekends too.

It was around June when he found them, not sure when they went out though.

Hopefully this year they will do it again.

AAA if you have it as an insurance company. I bought 6 tickets there last year to go. Last year they were like $37.75ish for each ticket. No word yet on how much they're going to be this year.

by the way I love you username soulja boy. :)

WOW great! Thank you for your quick responses. I have AAA and they dont offer tix where I live since I'm out of the region, but is it better to go with other discounts like you said the "getaway guide"? i'm planning on staying at Breakers Express with 4 for a couple days, and i was wondering if it would be better to go with the package deals they offer or is the guide discount a better deal with just regular room rates? A penny saved is a penny earned. $$$ :)

You can't get the AAA discount at the park, so you can either look up the Sandusky office when you get to town, or go with another discount. AAA is usually about the same price as what Meijer sells tickets for.

As for the Pepsi can discounts, in the past they have accepted all types of Pepsi products (cans, bottles, lids or wrappers) not just the specially marked cans.

And then one day you find ten years have got behind you
No one told you when to run, you missed the starting gun

I have stayed in 3 different Breakers rooms and none of them had a fridge.
I stayed in 1 Castaway Bay room, and it had a fridge I believe.

I suggest you invest in a nice cooler. There are tons of coolers with "refrigeration" compartments.
You can always buy your own mini-fridge and hook it up to your car in the trunk and go all out soulja boy.

I'll be honest with you in my findings. Every year i went to the point i stayed at Breakers Express and got the package deal. I only used the tickets for Cedar Point and the tickets for the morning doughnuts and stuff the hotel has. I might have used the %10 off at TGI Friday's once. This year i wanted to stay at Hotel Breakers. Unfortunately Breakers did not have a package deal for the time that i'm going. I am hardly ever in my room when i'm there so i went with the cheapest room. Then i added in the ticket price (gate price not the hotel discounted tickets). I compared that to the Breakers express package deal and to my surprise it was cheaper staying at Hotel Breakers (in the cheaper room) and buying tickets at the gate. Now, it will be even cheaper when i buy tickets at the hotel.

I guess i learned that the package deal isn't always the best deal. Depending on how clean the room is and how helpful the staff is i think i'll be staying at Hotel Breakers from now on. I just wish i would have compared prices before hand because i have been wanting to stay on point for a few seasons now.

Last year Meijer had Cedar Point adult day passes tickets for $35.

Where is Meijer? In Sandusky?

Superman dat OH!

Meijer is all around the area, the easiest way to describe it is Walmart without the evil cooperation plotting to take over the world part.

But as for the one in Sandusky, it right on 250, cant miss it.

Haha i like your description. Thank you. What about Two-day passes? Can you use them for just Cedar point or do you have to go to the water park one day?

Superman dat OH!

Two day passes are good at the water park and CP for any two days they are open. However, they must be used on the same day (ie if you go to CP and not Soak City on one day, you lose that day at Soak City.)
