The thing is the whole "single rider shirt" fad really appeals to some people and they think it's the coolest thing and that anyone with a bright fluorescent shirt that has the words "single rider" on it are the coolest people around. Here's what I mean.

I'm the one with the glasses talking to my friend Mark. You can see single rider 2 (who's name is Chris), the man to the left of him (very pompous), the girl with the green shirt (who also smelled of poo)and the guy in the grey next to her (another rude stinky individual). They all classify themselves as single riders and give us other single riders (who don't smell bad and are courteous to others) a bad reputation.

Wow. If he ever lays one of his hands on me for any reason, I will drop him. Why does he think that he has such seniority at the point when he doesn't work there, just annoy people and ride ops? Did he ever work there? This guy is a douche! >:-|
May I make a suggestion and say it might not be the wisest thing to do in beating the man up seeing how you could get kicked out of the park. The smart thing would be what Adam said and report to security or someone of higher authority.
I like how a trip report turned into a bashing session. I wonder if the dude ever comes on these forums.
Might as well re-name this thread to Anti-Single rider 2.lol.
Lol yea I mean push comes to shove I probably wouldn't hit a guy, but if he provoked me and/or knocked me down and didn't apologize, we would have a problem. Seeing as how I am coming all the way up there from Atlanta, I would hate to get kicked out of the park.I also saw a really old guy wearing a single riders highlighter green t-shirt. He was very nice though.
First time to Cedar Point was opening day 2009, 7 hours in line for TTD, 2 rollbacks =)

You probably saw single rider Bob.
Yea, Bob kinda started the "single rider craze" and is a very nice guy. Sometimes he gets out of hand, but he's still cautious and courteous (for the most part).

Yeah he talked to us for the while that he was in line for TTD but then he left. He was very cool. However, the guy he was with..wearing a blue american coaster enthusiast jacket. He was an ass.

Ok now, lets get this straight, Is his nickname deuce or douche? ;) A few years back at "Joe Cool Club" ride nights, (the best ERT ride sessions), whenever we get runners like that behind us right at the entrance of the que, we like to just do a nice pace walk and when we hear crap being talked behind us about how they could get a couple more rides if these people in front of us would move, we will slow down our pace.
Yeah, you could stop and turn around and say something, but its more fun to slow them down and piss them off where it hurts them the most, which is funny all in itself "their ride count". Its funny to me, watching people run to the ride, get into the station, and get out their pen and paper and log their ride.
What's the point? Is there a prize if u break 1,000 rides in a season? And the bragging about the first or last ride of the night or the year for that matter, was it really any better then the one ride i had just a minute ago? I can understand wanting to be first in line for TTD because it sometimes results in a rollback. Ok, I'm done. :)

I only strive to get the first and last of the season because I love that ride so much. It's much more of a personal thing for me than a bragging right. Heck my personality and my room are what make me recognizable and likable to the crew.
And while I don't record my ride count on a piece of paper after riding, I log it in my mind cause I still like to know where I stand when it comes to hitting my personal goal of 1000. Plus if anyone asks where I'm at, I'll give them an answer. And the people who say "Wow, I've only been on it like 10 times." I say "You know, all that matters is you enjoy the ride." :)

Did you paint all those images on your wall and door because it's a great job. I actually wanted a dragster image painted in my room.
Ah, was able to get a frame of some video I was shooting in line for TTD with the single rider guy I was talking to in it..
