I am new!sweep,etc. .Job. .juhu!

Hi,I have to start mu job in Cedar Point on june 8.Sorry if my english is not good,i am from Montenegro very faar from America.About 12 hours fly.I get job like a sweep.Can enyone can tell me excatly one day like a sweep how it is?And they in Cedar Point told me that i can switch my job(because i dont get job which i wont),can anibody tell how is work like a houskeeper and what job is good?I am litle confused and afraid. .

You are cute. A sweep walks around an area with a broom and dustpan and picks up trash. You will also talk to guests. Its an easy job and a great way to learn more english!

House keeping is where you clean up peoples rooms after they check out. Make beds, vaccuum, dust, clean bathrooms and toilets. Its an ok job and you dont interact with many guests but theres not as much fun to be had while you are working.

If you mean housing to live in during the season, yeah you can switch rooms but it's a hectic move. You get to choose where ever you want to live when you process in, so try to pick a good spot. Your best bet if you want to meet new people from America is to live in Commons dorms! If you want to live with people from your country, then you will probably live in Golds or Commons apartments because they are cheaper and the internationals tend to go for cheaper. I suggest meeting new people and living in the Commons dorms. Much more fun!

If you mean housing as in working in housing, it might be a little difficult to switch departments once you are working as a sweep. Supervisors don't like giving up their workers. However if you know a house keeper who wants to work as a sweep, then the switch becomes easier.
